Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Range Finder
Used this range finder side by side to an KILO2400, everything the 2400 could range, the 2200MR could too with matching results. Both impressively ranged a building 2986m away with 16 degree angle. Took the range finder to the top of a butte and were able accurately range running deer bellow with a ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Typical capability is exaggerated by manufacturer.
This unit is very compact but fits the hand nicely. Operation is intuitive and simple. The auto dimming display worked as advertised. The hyper ranging worked as advertised. Optics were clear enough for me. 7X magnification was very adequate. Ranging up to about 850 yards on reflective targets...

1st Rangefinder, so don't have much to compare it to

by Ryan, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on October 3, 2018
Let me preface this by saying this is my first rangefinder, so I don't have much to offer in the way of comparison, but this product seems to function as advertised. I have only tested it out to a few hundred yards side by side with my fathers Leupold, and it seems to be accurate as I don't see much discrepancy between the two. Haven't had any issues ranging targets out to 300 yards, and proved effective in helping me sight in a rifle and crossbow scope. Nothing to complain about at this point. Need a longer range to see if it really is able to meet the advertised specs.

1200 yards at Best

by Brandon Moore, from OH, United States Written on August 26, 2018
Clarity is great with this range finder, I would say better than my Nikon rifle hunter1000 . However, the ranging capabilities are grossly overstated. Works pretty consistently on all surfaces out to a 1000 yards and from then on its picky. I have not gotten it to range anything beyond 1250 yards.
Pros:
  • Clarity
  • Size
Cons:
  • Ranging Effectiveness

Fantastic rangefinder!

by RoninArt, Verified Owner from NH, United States Written on July 23, 2018
I lost a Bushnell G-Force that in truth I wasn’t in love with. Did some research and decided on the Sig Sauer Kilo2200MR and I am glad I did. I haven’t had a chance to fully push its limits but in testing it blows away my previous one. Easily and quickly ranges trees at a 1000 yards which was impossible with the Bushnell. I’m looking forward to using this in the field and pushing its limits.
For the price this can’t be beat!
Pros:
  • Operation and Distance
Cons:
  • None found yet
Best Used for:
  • hunting
  • Tactical
  • Long range shooting
  • Rangefinding

Customer satisfaction

by J. A. Lopez, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on March 24, 2018
Most of my optics have been bought from Optics Planet. They are spotting scopes, binoculars, reflex and tactical rifle scopes, a range finder and range gear. All are respected brand named: Leupold, Vortex, Sig Sauer, etcetera.

The price paid through Optics Planet has consistently been several dollars less than I could find from reputable Internet sources and local Firearms stores.

The selection of available products are numerous and provide a one stop shopping opportunity.
When an infrequent issue arose regarding my purchase; Customer Service lived up to the name and I was completely satisfied.

Quality like my Sig 226

by GJPPEF, from PA, United States Written on November 2, 2017
Great tool. I looked and researched on multiple sites. I read, read, and read some more. I couldn't not get it. If there was one thing I wish it came with would be a mounting site but you can get a mounting piece, and a sig sticker for my Yeti.....that aside, it's technology at its best at a phenomenal price.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Mounting site

Sig Kilo 2200MR Delivers

by Grollhalter, Verified Owner from NJ, United States Written on September 6, 2017
Have ranged past 1000 yds on an overcast day, to a pine tree on a hilltop (1084 yds to be precise). Quick acquisition and repeatable ranging is what I have found in my limited use of this quality piece of gear. Rugged, rubberized exterior with simple function. Out past 1000yds, steadying the rangefinder on something very helpful. Optics are crystal clear! Note that the Nikon lanyard won't work with this unit. Would easily recommend this rangefinder to a friend.
Pros:
  • Rugged, Lightweight, Clear optics
Cons:
  • none can see
Best Used for:
  • Ranging in field and long range

Very very solid LRF

by Brandon, from OH, United States Written on August 30, 2017
I'm very happy with my Kilo 2200. The glass is clear and the reticle is clear as well. Beam divergence seems to be minimal and is well within the center of the reticle. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.
