Rebuttal on Cole Millers Review
Cole I own 4 of the exact model you reviewed and never have I experienced that Issue. You do know you can adjust the brightness on that unit.
When its at its Brightest setting you get some flare, just adjust it down a bit and the flare goes away.
Hope that helps.

Almost awesome
I was super excited about this sight being an owner of an mpx and mcx I love the quality of my sig firearms. On receiving the Romeo 4s the reticle options were great I also love that it came with screw in lens caps and the design of the optic was attractive. Then I mounted the optic on my SIG MCX a...

Good red dot
Great transaction as usual from optics planet. Nice red dot but a little blurry with astigmatism. 3x magnifier clears that right up for longer shots. Love the solar backup,

Great dot.
Wanted to get a 4XT Pro but that wasn't in stock at the time so I went with this because its got the same reticle features. Turned out to be a great buy. The BDC is perfect for my 10.3" Mk-18 barrel. The 4 dots give me holds for 100-200yds, 300yds, 400yds and 500yds. On a 14.5 - 16" barrel these values all go up by +100 yds. Perfect when paired with a magnifier. (Using 62gr M855)
Pros:
- reticle
- BDC
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Duty and Defense

Love it deff recommend it
Great optic amazing quality and build . If you’re looking for budget friendly optic this is the way to go . Great feature like quick release and button lay out Awesome battery life too with multiple red dot reticle options

It really good for the price.
I have this on my GPR (General Purpose Rifle) which serves as my home defense and "duty" rifle. The glass is nice and clear and the dot is nice and crisp. The main reason I picked this up instead of an Eotech is the price, the battery life, and I feel is more reliable than a Holosun (my line of thinking is that if its good enough for the British SAS its good enough for me). The solar is a bit of a gimick as it is on basically all of the optics that have it, except for the Holosun ones with capacitors that can hold a charge from the solar panel.
Pros:
- crisp reticle
- Crisp and clear glass
Cons:
- solar is kind of worthless
Best Used for:
- Duty and home defense.

Romeo4S mounted on a 50AE DEagle.
Used an ADM QD lo-mount to put this optic on a MarkXIX stainless/ported 50AE Desert Eagle. This optic has been on the 50AE for over four years, and been subjected to thousands of rounds of abuse. It's still going strong. I purchased this optic because of the warranty, and fully expected to use that warranty. It has held up great. Good job SIG!
Pros:
- Takes the abuse of 50AE and NEVER loses zero .
Cons:
- I like upgrading optics after they fail, still using the Romeo4S because it just keeps working.

Brilliant Red Dot
Great Red dot with a lot of functional features. The solar feature is helpful with auto adjusting dot and long lasting battery life. The auto turn on and off feature is perfect for a hassle free quick action use. The quick release attachment works great. Site hold zero well. I highly recommend this Red Dot.

Defective optic? Sig says no.
Bought this optic and immediately noticed a blob of something that looked like solder on the inside of the optic to the left. Upon closer inspection, it appears to be the back side of the emitter and the tiny circuit board it is mounted on with a visible wire attached. It is bit bad enough that you can see it, as that us annoying, but it is precisely what it looks like on my optic that has me so disappointed. I called Sug and sent them pics. They told me to send I in for replacement. They returned it to me without replacing it and said it's fine. They also scratched up the brand new optic somehow and to date, I am still without an optic. Looks like I won't be buying any more Sig products. I will update, if they decide to do the right thing, which would be to replace the optic, or let me pay to upgrade to something that is not a piece of garbage. I only make the last comment, because one employee insists that the optic is supposed to look like mine.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Build Quality
Best Used for:
- Burning $350

Circle plex
I was worried the circle plex would be to much clutter in the sight picture but I’m really digging it. Helps to acquire target quickly and it looks really good paired with the Juliet 3. The reticle is super crisp and can be adjusted to suit your needs for brightness. Can’t go wrong with this one. So glad I didn’t settle for the Romeo 5 Juliet 3 combo. I feel the extra money spent was worth it

Romeo 4S Solar
Great price and very good quality. Adjustable brightness works well to reduce any blur from over brightness. Ballistic plex .5MOA is very easy to see. I have not shot with the new sight yet but overall very solid feel.

Precision Red Dot
So far I'm pretty impressed with this sight. The Circle Plex Cross hair are fast to acquire. The side controls are well placed. The cross-hairs make precision shooting easier and is one of the primary reasons I bought this. Personally, I'd like the cross hairs to be about 10-20% larger (not thicker). Glass is very clear and crisp (although not as much as my ACOG). It comes with a standard mount and bikini covers in addition to the QD mount and flip covers (but I'll probably never use those). With the Solar Panel on-top I was hoping for always on, but you have to manually turn it on, this could be a problem if you need to use this fast (it takes about 3 seconds to turn on). Size and weight are good. Will need to do some testing to see how well it maintains a zero.
Pros:
- Clarity
- Size & Weight
- Cross hairs are etched
- Cross hairs are very bold
- cross hair style
- controls well placed
Cons:
- cross hair needs to be turned on
- slow to turn on
