Great brake
I was pleasantly surprised when I received this brake. The finish is pretty nice on it but that wasn't all that important to me. I used it on a 300 Win Mag (Rem 700 Sendero SFII) and it really knocks the recoil down. I am sure there are better out there, but at 5+ times the cost and not 5x times ...

Enormous and heavy
I ordered ASMZ21 (the fancy stainless steel one) and it is my own fault I didnt read all the details. It looks well made, no complaints. It belongs on a Barret 50 cal and is about the same size as those brakes. This thing is absolutely massive (that's what she said!) and is absolute overkill for an ...

Great muzzle break
I added this comp to a 20 inch build that I had going with the intentions of building a bench gun that shoots like a Cadillac with very minimal recoil not that 556 is anything crazy anyway and did exactly that. It comes with a timing nut so you’re not trying to line up that quarter turn on a crush washer. I don’t see myself needing to buy another one, but if I do, I’m getting another one of these

it’s loud, but it works
Those around you will feel the boom in their chest. They won’t want to sit too close for very long while you’re going through ammo but otherwise it does the job. I have a low mass BCG and together muzzle rise isn’t much. In a scope you don’t leave the target too much but it’s straight, not pushing right or diagonal.

great fit and finish, large and effective
I wanted to try a few brakes from Optics planet and I got this one among 3 others.
I like this one, larger, solid, and has not affected accuracy noticeably yet.
I feel that the size and weight helps to stay on target even more effectively.
Looks great on my rifle
this comes with a timing nut this means you will be able to align the brake holes horizontally and the comp holes vertical.
it reduces recoil as expected and fits great.
Installation was straightforward, and the machining quality is great — clean threads, sharp ports, and a durable finish.
Overall, I like it.

Very well machined and ported.
Trolling for Optic Fish trophy pays off again. I liked the ancillary upper downward pressure ports. Also the cant of milling keeping the blast forward and right angles. Heavy steel, but that is weight the sciences.
Pros:
- Better than GI Joe garbage

Sniper Muzzle Brakes
Seems effective at reducing both felt recoil and muzzle rise, making it easier to stay on target. Great value!

Best for the price
Well I bought 2 of these one for my .308 AR10 bolt action and one for my .300 blkout AR15. Tested the .308 bolt action AR10, an I was very impressed and happy It reduced my recoil by 25% and my muzzle rise was very minimal like it didn't even move that much at all, an it stayed on target at 100yrds. I am pleased with the price and product.
Pros:
- best prices
Cons:
- should also come in 2 packs
Best Used for:
- Any & All Builds

Looks great
Very easy to install and looks great, just adds a great look to the end of the barrel

Good enough
Installed on a savage carbon tactical. Easy to time and looks good. Have not shot it yet but I’m sure it will work. In my opinion, this muzzle brake should do just as well as others costing much more. I’m no pro shooter and I don’t think I will ever be. But I do have over 20 years experience as an Army Infantryman, so I’m sure this brake will fit my needs….if it don’t I will update my review.
Pros:
- Price and install ease
- Price and easy I stall
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- REDUCING RECOIL

budget muzzle brake
Very pleased with overall construction quality and size of the brake. I like the short profile. It comes with both compression washer and a locknut. I chose to use lock nut for timing but wish the lock nut was thicker. Lock nut very thin.
