Spec Ops Combat Master Sheath
This is an extremely versatile, well constructed piece of gear. Layout allows for molle straps, cool split attachement that allows you to bracket your belt loop (prevents shifting), tie down grommets in place for lashing to almost anything. Also has adjustable retaining strap for handle of knife to ...

There isn’t a knife that fits this Sheath...
There isn’t a knife that fits this Sheath, which is a shame as it’s a well-made but apparently useless item. OpticsPlanet does not sell a knife that fits this sheath; I purchased it for a knife I ordered from them, which did not fit. I have contacted OpticsPlanet and have been promised a list of s...

Fixed knife sheath
This sheath is better than the factory sheath. A definite upgrade. I have two for different knives and works great for both.
Pros:
- Better quality, tougher construction, almost over-built.
Cons:
- A little pricey, but worth it in my opinion!
Best Used for:
- Long term use.

Very well made sheath.
Bought the spec ops master sheath for my Busse TGULB, fits perfectly. Very well put together and completely made it the USA. Shipping to the UK was very quick and I'd definitely buy from Optics Planet again.

Fantastic.
Fits the Becker K7. I did use a heat gun to mold it slightly while it was in the sheath. Easily holds the knife but doesn’t pull the plastic scabbard out of the sheath. Just apply some heat while the knife is in the plastic scabbard but out of the sheath itself. Let it cool. Finished. Everything about this screams quality and bonus made in the USA! Takes a very nice knife that came with a garbage communist Chinese sheath and makes it the perfect knife.
Pros:
- Quality, made in the USA, QUALITY.
Cons:
- None

absolute best knife sheath for field
This purchase was my third time for this item, which says quite a lot. I have both the longer and shorter versions now. So my Randall 15 and Randall 1 have dedicated sheaths.
The plastic liner inside the sheaths protects both you and the blade. It is totally over engineered, which is a good thing.
The sheath itself is easy to attach/detach, belt or molle.
The strap to secure the handle is fully adjustable and effective.
Pricey, but buy it once and you never have to buy anther sheath.

Spec Ops Sheath
This is the 2nd sheath (Combat Master 8") from Spec Ops that I have bought. I would not have bought a 2nd one if the first one was not top notch.
I bought the first one to go camping, hunting and backpacking. I put a Kabar 8" version of the USMC sheath knife in it. A.K.A. "The KABAR" The newer knife's version has a 8" heavier blade with a short serrated section near the hilt. It is an an ideal economy survival knife being less than $100 but still of military grade quality. In the Spec Ops sheath pocket I put a Silva starter compass, G.I. Fire Starter and a diamond (coarse) hone. If I fall on tough times (i.e. some type of emergency) while I am participating in some outdoor activities I enjoy, the knife, with the 3 enclosed items in the sheath pocket would be the minimum of what I would need to help keep me safe. (compass to point the way back home or to some some landmark to assist in that effort, a G.I. Fire starter to start a fire if need be and a diamond hone to resharpen the knife if if had heavy use in some cutting or chopping chore. i.e. As in helping to build a shelter).
I liked the first Spec Ops Combat Master knife sheath, Kabar 8" knife and accessory combination that I bought another set to keep in the "Get Home Bag," in my Jeep.
The quality of construction and features of this sheath are first rate and I do recommend them to others.

Top quality sheath
Fits a wide range of knives, I especially like the adjustable strap to hold the knife nice and firm. I have other size Spec Ops sheaths and the quality is consistent, I wish they made an Olive Drab color sheath, some custom knives come with a Spec Ops "Foliage green" color sheath, but that color is not available with just the sheath.
Pros:
- Heavy Duty
- Adjustable Strap
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- All around carry

Great Sheath Option
This is the second Spec Ops sheath I have purchased. The 1st was for a Becker BK 5 Magnum Camp and the 2nd is for my Busse Team Gemini. Both blades are over 7" and fit fairly snug. This sheath has a velcro pocket up front for a ferro rode and sharpener or a pistol magazine pouch. You also have multiple carry options including ambidextrous. I own the multicam and coyote colors/patterns.
