I bought this light at a local store in May 2022 after seeing it recommended online. It has earned a permanent spot in my left pocket on the daily. It gets submerged, bashed, shaken and dropped frequently with no problems thus far. I can now read labels in the dark, spot critters on the side of the road, point at places, inspect tools and parts better, search for dropped things on the ground, the list goes on. I have been amazed at the utility this little light gives me.
Of course, any EDC light will perform the tasks above. But what this makes this light unique is that it will run on a AA battery or a 123-size battery. In fact, it will run on a AAA battery too in a pinch. The way it manages this is by having the bottom of the battery compartment travel on a spring to keep pressure on whatever size battery you have in there. The light itself is solid and the manual is helpful. I've used this light a lot over the past few months, and here are some things I've learned:
-The output is a proper, bright 300 lumens, though the color is on the colder side.
-The clip comes off with a little determination.
-The O-ring should be lubricated periodically (per the manual, read it).
-This light is low profile and doesn't weigh much. You could say "this light is light!"
-A CR123 battery will last me about a month of frequent use.
