I bought this to add a 2 point sling to my AR. It would not tighten on my UTG pro rail. Upon closer inspection, I realize the screw is to long and digging/marring into the rail before the pieces come together. I grind off an 1/8"of the screw. Awesome part.
Switched over to this & SI QD sling swivel from magpul paraclete on the sling & Magpul attachment point on the rail, and i like the SI parts much better. Lower profile, move more freely & quality parts. I recommend these parts, they are solid.
Pros:
- Low profile, work as advertised.
Cons:
- None

Two stripped
It's a great idea. Sits super low profile, and has enough space in between where it slots into the picatinny that you can lock up a cheapish handguard to the receiver.
However, I had TWO strip out after the first use. I moved them around the rail with high quality drivers and the screw is too soft, strips out very very easily. Strike Industries customer service is negative. I would not recommend.

No problems w/3 of mine
I bought 1, liked it so much bought 2 more. Very low profile, fits flush with top rail & doesn't interfere with scopes. Other review said didn't work with his QD? I'm using 3 different slings & no issues with any attachment. Easy to put on w/supplied allen wrench. All have been holding up well

Works well Allen head bolt is kinda small but works well with magpul MS4 sling adapter.
Holds up to the 11lb RFB-18 weight as a single point sling attachment after a year of use so you know it can handle a 7lb AR.

Not so good.
Fit and finish very good. Comes with a quick detach swivel, which works wellwith said procuct.
The problem I have is that the quick detach will not interchange with other quick detach swivels such as slings or other brand quick disconnects. This product is made in Taiwan.
