I’m not sure why people are having trouble with these. I’ve used a few of them and they work really well; especially for fine-tuning troublesome 300 blackout rifles.

Strike Industries makes a lot of great products but it seems like they always fall just one step short of perfection in design. This buffer is very easy to use for its intended purpose and utilizes 4 buffer weights (tungsten, steel, aluminum, polymer) rather than your typical 3 weights. Only instructions it came with show standard H1, H2 and H3 configuration but if you go to website you realize there are at least a dozen different configurations as you would expect with the ability to use 4 weights with 4 different materials. The polymer end of buffer seems thinner than many others out there and the top is just screwed on with a rubber o-ring so I’m curious how well it will hold up in my AR10. Price is pretty steep at $65 as well.

Excellent buffer from Strke. Light weight aluminum and unscrews from the buffered end without the need tor two different allen wrench’s. Highly customizable with four different wants. I recommend this buffer.
Pros:
- Light weight, easy access, highly customizable
Cons:
- Should heavily oil threads

I tired this buffer in multiple rifles/rifle tubes. And would get Jammed in every 1. I did finally take it to my grinding/buffing wheel to grind down the flare at the head. After grinding and polishing the flare at the top it finally functioned properly...at least in the 1 rifle I tried it in. This buffer may work for you if your willing to modify it, otherwise I would go the odin works adjustable buffer.
Pros:
- Comes with 2 tungsten weights.
- Easy to adjust weight
Cons:
- 1
- Needs modification to work
- To big for mil spec tubes

Great having the 4 weights to mix n match instead of 3. Not all aftermarket weights will work with this buffer. I have 2 S.I and 2 Odin works adjustable buffers. Odin works weights are just a hair to big in diameter. Also a couple other buffers from guns I've changed the buffers in are the same way I think I've had one out of several buffers that I could rob the weights out of and fit in the S.I adjustable buffer. Seems like the buffer will not fit in S.I flat wire springs either. But I'm not a 100% on that. I am 100% Odin works buffers will not fit in the S.I FLAT WIRE SPRING.

I would recommend this to a friend I put the Buffer in My 6.5 grendel . the gun cycles better and no feeding issues. you can change the weights to fit your gun . It buy other buffers to figure out which one your gun works better with.
Pros:
- You can change the weights to fit your gun

Purchased two of these. One for a milspec AR that will later be reduced to an SBR and one for an SBR that is still waiting for the tax stamp to come back. It was great to see that there are many spacers included that don't add too much weight. This prevents the signature "jingle" of other configurable buffers. Once I finally get approval to reconfigure my milspec AR to an SBR I'll be able re-configure the weight accordingly without having to purchase another buffer.
Pros:
- one buffer to rule them all
Best Used for:
- Lowers with multiple uppers

Great product to fine tune your AR's Shoot weapon until you get the proper weight in the buffer for the brass to eject properly then put a buffer in that matches that weight so you can use the adjustable on your next project
