I see in the description that the kit includes 2 tungsten, 2 steel, 2 aluminum, and 3 POM weights, but what are POM weights and how much do they weigh Expert Answer

The Strike Industries AR Optimus Weight Recoil Buffer POM weights are Thermoplastic weights. Strike Industries does not state the weight of the individual weights and I recommend contacting Strike Industries for that information.

Will this work with a giessele super 42 spring? They claim you have to strictly use their buffer because the spring is smaller inside diameter Expert Answer

You can use the Strike Industries AR Optimus Weight Recoil Buffer but, Geissele does say a standard buffer can cause damage to the rifle or receiver. However, this is not a standard buffer and you can increase or decrease weight at will.

Great product to fine tune your AR's Shoot weapon until you get the proper weight in the buffer for the brass to eject properly then put a buffer in that matches that weight so you can use the adjustable on your next project
