I’m a big fan of the Masterfire holster system and this is one of the only ways to use IR light with your pistol/holster combo in combination with night-vision. It’s expensive, but the unit can double as a rifle mounted or PDW light as well in a pinch. If you are familiar with Surefire products, the quality you’d expect is all there. i bought this for a 300blk pistol that i want to start getting into night shooting. i have not actually used it for that so all i can give is my initial thoughts. i went with this because i have limitted railspace and i dont want a have a heavy gun. i wish the white light was a smidge better but i cant complian, the laser seems great and i think the ir illuminator is fine for distances im likely to engage with for a 9in 300blk. A huge selling point is that you do not need to remove the device to swap batteries as long as there is noting directly behind it.
