Surefire product - SureFire MasterFire X400 Weapon Light

I’m a big fan of the Masterfire holster system and this is one of the only ways to use IR light with your pistol/holster combo in combination with night-vision. It’s expensive, but the unit can double as a rifle mounted or PDW light as well in a pinch. If you are familiar with Surefire products, the quality you’d expect is all there. It’s a big beam of light that is best suited for a pistol in a CQB environment. The IR illumination under VN is equally impressive. It does give off a faint red glow (or signature) down range when the IR light is active. The housing is up to the same standard as other Surefire lights and products. Like other Surefire pistol lights this is technically usable and bright enough in some application for a rifle, but the Surefire scout lights in IR/white combos are a better pick for that set up specifically. This does work well for the pistol.
