Surefire Z59 Click-On Lock-Out Tail Cap
The Z59 tail cap fits on several Surefire models such as the 6P, Z2,
C2 and G2. In my opinion, it's a necessary upgrade for any of these flashlights—especially if you are using them in a tactical situation—since Surefire ships them all with a twist-on tail cap.
I tried this tail cap on two different flashlights: the 6P LED and the G2 LED.
The Z59 Tail cap is nice— it works great on both lights. The Z59 has a smooth action and is engaged more easily than the tail caps which are stock on some of the other Surefire lights such as the E series. The on/off switch of Z59 is also recessed a ...

Great Upgrade to Stock Surefire G2X Tactical
This drastically increases the ease of use on the Surefire G2X. Not having to twist the end cap to keep the light on is really nice when using with a pistol. Works perfect, just twist off the stock cap and put this one on.

Surefire Z59 Tailcap
Great addition that transforms my 6P light to a weapon light. The small rim around the button prevents inadvertent activation, yet allows rapid access to the switch. In my opinion, this should be standard on the 6P light, it's such a worthwhile addition.

MUST HAVE!
Absolutley must have this mine is going on 6pled which comes with twist on/ momentary switch. since it weap. mounted constant on is sometimes necessity. this provides it without having to rotate tailcap. only slightly longer than stock tailcap on 6p. finish is beautiful

This Should Come Standard on All Surefire Lights
The lock out tailcap really should come standard on all SureFire lights. I think its kind of cheap that they only include the rotation tailcap.
The tailcap does what it is supposed to do and it manufactured to the same rugged specs as all SureFire products.

Wish it was poly, but still good.
This is a great addition to my G3. I just wish that they made a poly version in order to match my poly flashlight.

Highly recommended. Also works with Surefire 6PL (as this is what I bought it for). This can be confirmed through some searching on the Surefire website.
