TacFire Low Profile Micro Gas Block went on easily ON MY DIAMONDBACK DB15 CARBINE. built well.does exactly what it is supposed to do... DOES NOT COME WITH ROLL PIN...so if you are planning on switching from a rail height gas block like I did you will need a much shorter roll pin..or just trim with cutting wheel..
Pros:
- low price
- well built
- Perfect fit

For functionality the block does what it's supposed to but I can tell you it has one major problem; the tube entry whole isn't the correct size, it's approximately .5mm too small and has to be drilled to accommodate the tube. Any tube, any length, any color, doesn't fit. TacFire needs to recall these blocks and do them again. Sorry.

Looks great in the package the finishes uniform and appears to be of good quality you can see very fine Machining marks but at this price point it's acceptable. The opening for the gas tube is aluminum spec however and it was also full of crud. The gas tube hole is in spec at the opening. About an eighth of an inch in though the gas tube which is slightly smaller than spec gets stuck.
At this point it's unusable.

Looking good so far waiting for Muzzle device to fit and handguard is on backorder so upper is looking really good and solid, can't wait to try it out and see how it performs, will let you know later when finished, on tight budget, piece by piece
Pros:
- Everything is fitting nicely and tight and comfortable and I dimpled the barrel and blue lock tight for gas block, so far so good AES
Best Used for:
- Building for brush coyote

This is described as junk according to my dictionaries. the center to center set screw holes do not match any of my dimple jigs. its nominal .365" ish.it has burrs everywheres. so you have to deburr every hole on inside. the 3/4" mics tighter than that so it may be a tough one to drum sand and force on. stay away. buy a name brand for a few dollars more

The set screws are .365" nominal. not even the smallest on my gas block jig which is .400. so you'll have to do it by hand the old way. You can fine the front screw hole by turning the block around and looking through locating the gas hole. then mark it on the barrel at the ens. and add a T mark transferingbto block from barrel mark. turn.it back around and set back screw gently tap a mark with transger punch. and then send first screw in to make sure it the marks you made with pencel line up. then mark the back screw and dimple that one and set it. done.

Thos gas block has odd ball screw centers. .365 or something like that. not even numbers like many of the dimple jigs come in. like .400, .425. .450 .500 etc etc. the center to center set screw holes. If you want to use two dimples you can use any jig for front set screw hole as it lines up with gas hole. but the second set screw dimple you'll have to be careful and do by hand. You don't really need two set screw dinples but this gas block has an odd ball center to center set screw holes and I thought you should know. the price is good. too bad. when they say micro they mean micro. its the smallest gas block I ever seen. I have done many. I did check ID it appears to be on the right aide rather than loose which is good. if its a bit tight you can always sand it with small drum sander and fine drum disk.
