I had recently purchased all Tactical Solutions components, complete bolt & receiver assembly, barrel, & the XRT trigger. All this was intended for a Kidd chassis but did not fit. I wasn’t disappointed because “tacsol” discloses there could be fittament issues due to differences in tolerances among manufacturers. Looking closer at the trigger assembly, I noticed the trigger pin is too wide by several thousands and pushes the removable side plates out making it difficult to install in different chassis systems. I also had ordered an extended X-Ring mag release for this trigger. Luckily I studied how trigger is designed and assembled, and noticed installation of mag release is not “straight forward” as most other 10/22 triggers. The Tactical Solutions mag release did not fit into this XRT trigger!!! The original release installed easily over and over. I noticed there are small differences at the pivot point between the 2 releases. Warning to all, do not attempt working on this trigger unless you have some gun smithing experience. Now I was disappointed �

The product description stated this trigger was for both X-Ring 10/22 platform and for Ruger 10/22’s. I pulled the factory trigger and the XRT trigger had about 1/32” gap on each side between the trigger housing and the receiver. The pin holes line up but the trigger housing could slide side to side in the receiver. Not for a standard Ruger 10/22.

I purchased this item and much to my surprise, had a functional issue. I contacted OP for options and they immediately instructed me to return the item. They shipped me the replacement before even receiving the returned unit. Amazing service. Very rare in this day and age.
The replacement is perfect. I guess even a company like TacSol, who makes great stuff, can make a unit that is not perfect, but no matter when companies like OP have your back.
