"Fixes" 10/22" bolt release
Tandemkross makes a good product and this is no exception. Allows bolt to be released by simply opening the action more and meeting it ride forward. The way ruger should've done it originally. Thanks

The bolt release Ruger should have made standard
This is a great improvement and should have come from the factory. No more fumbling with the stock bolt release and charging handle. Just pull back on the charging handle and release. Simple. Installation is no too difficult, although you may have to deburr the trigger housing to allow the bolt release to smoothly function. I have installed 3 of these and 2 required minor fitting to function smoothly. Not a problem of the bolt releaser, just minor casting flash in the trigger housing. A small smooth file and a few seconds did the trick. TriggerShim.com has excellent videos of this and more. Do your self a favor and get one.

Better than the rest.
This is the only 10/22 bolt release plate I've seen that's different than all the others. It's the only one that's actually engineered as a new product. All the other ones copy the old design which has holes that are unnecessary for way this mod operates. I actually modified my stock part by filing down the tooth (like all the other ones you can buy). It only took 10 minutes and it worked fine. I bought this one to try just because it was different. Wow. It operates way smoother than my other one. I think that's largely because it has a hole instead of a slot for the rotation pin. The slot is necessary for the way the original one operates. All the other bolt release plates you can buy keep the slot because they don't understand the engineering.

10/22 must have. Great fix for annoying problem.
Optics Planet has always done me right with flawless transactions. This is another awesome product by Tandemkross. Fixes the highly annoying functionality of the factory bolt hold open on the 10/22. Perfect fit and finish.

A needed improvement on the ruger 10/22
The stock bolt release is a bit awkward and takes two hands to operate so I wanted to change it out with something a bit more a natural its an easy install and worth it for a much more natural reload locking the bolt can be a bit difficult depending on the magazine release you have since it's smaller but its not that bad

MUST HAVE!
If there is one upgraded everyone needs for their Ruger 10/22 it’s this bolt release. Instead of holding your charging handle and fiddling around with your OEM release with your other hand to find the right spot to release the bolt, all you need to do is simply pull back on your charging handle to release the bolt. Very easy to install. Must have !

This part fit perfectly, and is doable by a patient amateur who can learn from YouTube. It's a delight to just pull the bolt back and have it slam forward without having to find that weird little catch left of the trigger. You do still need to use the catch if you want the bolt to stay open, but closing the action is much easier.
