I put it on my Hi-point 995TS and it has made it easier and quicker to get on target and the price point made it even better, and I'll probably put it on my Ruger Challenger 22 pistol and get one that magnifies but this seems to be good red dot to start out with.
Pros:
- The price and easy to use.
Cons:
- Turning it on and off is too close to the elevation adjuster.

This is a nice red dot for the 3/8 rail on a 22., especially for the price. It works well on both a Rifle and a hand Gun. Mounts securely with ease. It is a very nice sight especially considering it’s low price.
Pros:
- Holds zero through battery changes

Very nice dot for a 22 used for Steel Challenge. Works perfectly for fast shooting. Mounts and holds zero with no problems. 5 MOA give an easy to pick up sight picture when time is important. I used a different style model on a gun earlier and found the working / controls of the sight being in the line of vision distracting.

I've used this sight for over three years on my Ruger 22/45 Target pistol and it's been perfect.
I bought this one because of the Tasco name and the low price and have not been disappointed.
It fits perfectly on the Weaver mount that came with the pistol. Easy to zero. Battery life is great.
You don't have to think about it like with a scope, you just keep both eyes open and put the dot where you want the bullet to go.
I usually only need to set the dot on 1 or 2 and it gets incredibly bright at 11.
I'm careful with the sight, don't knock it around and it has been plenty rugged enough.

I bought this and Leapers to try out different sights. This had a Weaver style mount which was not useable on my gun. I returned it and got another Leapers. However, I did note that the knob to turn on and adjust brightness was very hard to use since it is situated too close to the elevation adjustment knob.
Cons:
- Needed Picitinney style mount
- The bightness adjustment is too close to the elevation adjustment, makes it hard to turn

After 3 shots on a ruger 0.22 the dot moved and it hasn't worked properly since.
Emailed Tasco twice, no response. Warranty card says send item to Texas with the $10USD cheque. In my books that is equivalent to no warranty at all.
I can't see myself buying another Tasco product.

I put this on my Henry rifle. Works great. Good groups at 50 yards.Easy to use. Red dot is easy to see
even in sunlight. An auto turn off would be helpful in case you forget to turn it off and run down the battery.
I recommend having a spare battery.
Pros:
- easy to zero and to operate

I purchased this product for my henry lever action 22 rifle. It is very easy to install and simple to sight in, easly seen red dot in any lighting situation. I couldnt be more pleased with this product. I highly recommend this to any one looking for a very good red dot scope.

I wanted an inexpensive red dot for a custom Crosman CO2 pistol. This Tasco was available with a dovetail mount. The sight was better than expected. Fit and finish was very good. It mounted with ease and sighted in even easier. I gave it a 4 on usability as I do not know how well it can take being bumped. I have no reason to believe it would not be fine, but my pistol is only used for target. In doors, low light, the dot is some what fuzzy. I was also surprised at how clear and clean the dot is out doors. Overall, Tasco Red Dot is a great value for .22 and CO2 airgun use.

With both eyes open, I can now quickly acquire a rabbit at 75 yards and shoot it in the head without damaging edible meat or waste valuable time trying to find it with a scope.
Pros: Much Better than Iron Sights for Older Eyes
Cons: Wish the size of the red dot was even smaller
