Tasco 6-24×42 target/varmit riflescope

Nice scope clear adjusts easily the only reason I gave it 4instead of five stars is because it does not gather light the way I would like it to but for the money you can't go wrong .I have one that was made in Japan. It is 20 years old and is still a very good scope and as far as I can tell the quality is the same on both scopes .I will definitely buy another one.

Best scope ever!

I highly recommend this scope. It's super affordable, easy to install and adjust. Field of view is perfect, holds zero, couldn't be happier. Beats any pile of crud we've been deployed with. Have it mounted on a savage axis II chambered .243win. Get this scope, you won't regret it.

Blown away by the quality for the price!

This is one heck of a great scope for the money. I read a review elsewhere from an ex-marine sniper who said this was about the best scope you could get for how cheap it is. He was not wrong! I was tack driving at 750 yards. This could accompany a 1,000 yard rifle pretty easily. I agree with some of the other reviews saying that the 24x can be a little fuzzy. I think perhaps they were also not adjusting to meet x24 magnification. After a few adjustments everything looked clear to me. I won 3rd place in a target comp shoot with this scope on my "1,000 yards for 1,000 dollars" bolt rifle in 6.5 creedmoor. Threw this on a .22 and it does just as well also. All around, I really don't think you're getting a better scope with some versatility for the dollar amount than this. I'm probably buying another one soon. I'm that satisfied with it.

Bargain Glass

Use this for an informal bench rest. Some people report fuzzy at high power I think they don't adjust the focus for the range they are shooting. Image is clear and bright throughout the range of adjustment. Crosshairs are fine enough for the 24 x end of the adjustment. All around great bargain. So goo I bought another.

Tasco 6-24x42 Target / Varmint Riflescope

Great Scope. I am shooting it at an indoor 22 league. I have no problems focusing the scope in at 60 ft. It is very clear and I can see my impact holes in the target. My scores are going up each week and this scope plays a big part for me. I recommend this scope and would buy another.

Good for target work

Now have 2 of them,one is on a 700 varmint 223 that replaced a high dollar scope that went south. Clear optics and has held zero for over 100 rounds so far.Have used them on a few other target rifles.

bad shipping

not bad for the money. shipping was not. ordered on 12/13 shipped on12/14 arrived 12/23 a bit much for Il. to Mo. was told would ship via ups was shipped fedex in the future if not shipped as told I will be looking elsewhere!

Good scope

I have several of these scopes and use them from rim fires to center fires. They always adjust well and hold their point of aim. If I switch to another rifle they again line up and hold the point of aim. I am well please with this scope.
