awesome! works great and has a great indirect function
Makes it extremely easy to charge your rifle. I built one, and ended up gifting it to a friend who is getting ate up by diabetes and he loves how easy it is to charge it with a few missing fingers and hand strength.

Bigger is not always better!
I like the idea of an oversized latch. When it's actually on your gun, though, you relized i dont need this. Stick with what your use to. Mill spec is always better in this area of parts.
Even though marketed as tactical/ambidextrous, some find the left-side latch too stiff or awkward to use quickly.

It does the job...But
It works and works as described. But its not for me, Oversize latch seems to catch on a few things, not often but enough to make me not like it. Also has a chineseium feel, in that I am waiting for it to fail. I would not recommend it for anyone and just suggest you save up a bit longer and get something else....better?

I've never struggled with a charging handle like this before.
This charging handle makes charging your rifle extremely hard compared to the standard issue charging handle. I'm left handed and it's weird operating this thing. I have a pristine rifle, I've applied CLP to even try to ease the process and the outcome is all the same. I essentially have to fight this charging handle to rack my rifle.

It does what it's supposed to do
It's a nice little extension. Overall it's fairly comfortable; the oversized flat part of the extension allows for fairly easy operation

Unreliable and broke in 14 months!
I bought this handle 09 Sept 23. It didn't feel right and was not able to give a good pull when loading on the range. The handle was placed on a Ruger SFAR .308 to get under a scope. Never liked it, didn't fell right, and the quality of manufacturing; does Made in China answer the question.

A Must Have with a Scope
For the price it is hard to beat. The quality is very good. We will see how it holds up. Be aware that if you lay the gun on its left side on a bench the latch will open thus the bolt could move. I believe this will happen with any oversize latch.

charging handle
do a lot of remodeling of collection of AR's. Somehow misplaced or lost charging handle for some rifles I was swapping parts on. I did not want to spend a lot of money on another charging handle so ordered this economical one from Optics Planet. It works very well and equally as good as some costing 2-5 times the price. It fits well and is smooth. It looks good. Would recommend to anyone looking for functional part for not a lot of money.
