Most Helpful Positive Review tighten up lower and upper slop!
Works excellent, I definitely recommend this item. Used on a sharps lower and Daniel Defense upper. Had a lot of slop and this fixed the problem. I was going to use oversized pins for the problem but they wouldn’t fit through the Daniel Defense upper ear holes. So this is an easy permanent fix or temporary fix until you find a resolution to fix your slop.

works great

by Christopher Hairston, Verified Owner from LA, United States Written on June 4, 2024
Wedge buffer works great but gave it 4 stars because I had to shave it slightly for fitment. Outside of that its awesome. Helps tighten up any wiggle you may have between your upper and lower receivers

Does what it does

Great budget fix to a sloppy rifle fit. Takes some shaving or slicing with a razor blade to fit.

Good product

by Colton, Verified Owner from AR, United States Written on March 3, 2024
Works as advertised, helps remove the rattle between the upper and lower. Doesn't remove it entirely, I put it in a new AR build I was working on the had a pretty bad rattle. After around 400 rounds, the rattle was back, but not to the extent it was before. It's a cheaper way to help mitigate the rattle

Read if using Aero Precision / Stag Arms / Ballistic Advantage Lower

by Mark D, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on August 29, 2023
I have a couple Aero Precision M4E1 Lowers as well as a Stag Arms AR15 Lower (same as Aero & BA). The little mickey mouse ear bumps on the wedge don't seat properly in those receivers (not sure about others). I had to cut them off and shave the very bottom down to be able to close the upper and lower together. Similar issue to using the set screw in them. Either you remove the slop and can barely move the takedown pin, or it still slops around a bit. I was hoping it would really solidify the mating of the upper and lower, but it really only cleaned up a little more slop and I could get with adjusting the set screw in the lower. So it works and if you have a ton of slop and no set screw, this would be a great product. If you have a set screw and can eliminate most of the slop with that, you won't get much more out of this. Anything more you take out will be balanced with a much harder to use rear takedown pin.
Pros:
  • Inexpensive
  • Works as intended
Cons:
  • Not any better than a set screw
  • Requires trimming to fit some lower receivers properly
  • makes rear takedown pin harder to use
Best Used for:
  • ARs with a lot of play between the upper and lower.

Tiger rock ar accu wedge

by Nate, from AL, United States Written on June 3, 2023
It does exactly what it says tightens up lower and upper receiver it eliminated all wobble on my ar and took less that 60 seconds to install. It may take a little modification with a razor blade to keep from being to tight but even with that it's still very simple to install and it works wonderfully I definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to make sure the receiver wobbleis a past issue
Pros:
  • Easy to install
  • Stops receiver wobble
Cons:
  • None

good little fixer

by David McDermott, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on March 6, 2023
will take the "Play" out of the upper/lower receivers. Mix and match mil-spec receivers will sometimes have slight differences in manufacturing. this causes the receivers to not mate properly. the accu wedge fixes the problem.
Pros:
  • Works as intended
Cons:
  • some minor shaving needs to be done
Best Used for:
  • tightens play between receivers
Would recommend: Yes

Good for fixing upper/lower play

by Jonathan, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on March 14, 2022
It's a little rubber insert that you stick in the back of the lower receiver underneath where the buffer spring goes. I had to shave mine down with a knife in order to get it to fit correctly, but once it did there wasn't nearly as much wobble. It's not a hard necessity but it's nice to have.
Pros:
  • Rubber
  • Easily modified
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Reducing play
