Did not work (Fit) my JD Machine 308 upper
I was excited to have received the Forward assist, the Tungsten color is very nice. While trying to install the assist, the assist diameter seems larger and would not fit into the assist port. I was trying to install it on a 308 upper (JD Machine).
Good replacement
Bought this for my son. He wanted to add a little color to his build.

Timber Creek AR Forward Assist Assembly Kit - FUBAR
This item will not fit into the ABC Rifle stripped or Anderson Arms stripped upper. The lack of random sampling to ensure it still applies to mil-spec tolerances. I wish I had read the already posted reviews by other members that the diameter of the main body is out of spec and wouldn't fit. Buyer beware and skip over this item when others are available.

Timber Creek Forward Assist
Timber Creek makes high quality parts. Fit and finish are great. Color matches most industry “red” products from other manufacturers as well. It’s that “metallic pinkish red” rather than fireman red. Looks good with my other color accents on my gun though. I have bought several parts from them and through Optics Planet and never been disappointed.

Didn't Work for Me
I couldn't get it to work in a BCM upper. The problem might have been me, however. It was my first time changing out a forward assist. I marred it substantially trying to get the roll pin in, so I couldn't return it. I installed one from another manufacturer without issues. Finish and pattern were nice.

CAME WITHOUT THE ROLL PIN
Just received my forward assist today and went straight to install it but for my luck, it didn’t come with the roll pin as it should have according to the product information. Now I’m stuck until I get a pin to install it. Hopefully I don’t get any other hiccups.

Great Look for FDE builds!
Easy to install and FDE was a pretty good match with my Magpul Furniture! Like the texture on the plunger over stock PSA plunger it replaced. Regardless if you are buying to match a look in your build, I would replace most stock FA with this!
