Most Helpful Positive Review Pataches that hold solvent well
Good to have patches that hold solvent and will stay on jig. Have puchased patches in the past that fell onn jig or punched holes easily in them. These patches are tough enought to hold oil and solvent. Good patches to get the job done quickly.
Most Helpful Negative Review Tipton Premium Flannel patches not premium
I bought these patches and found that almost every single patch frayed and left pieces of the patch inside the barrel, slide and lower when cleaning. I would never call them premium. They were a total waist of money and I had to buy another brand.

perfect patch

Some patches seem to not clean very well and just leave i guess i would call it fibers or lint behind. These seem to hold cleaner better while cleaning, oil better while oiling, and no fibers left behind when running clean patches through the barrel

They help clean

I needed cleaning patches to clean my .17hmr and these are cleaning patches. They work great but they are a little tight to fit in the barrel. Its possible my cleaning jag is a tad thicker but since I dont have another one to compare too... Overall they get the job done but I wish they were a little thinner.

  • Clean nicely, hold together well
Cons:
  • A tad on the thicker side for .17hmr
Best Used for:
  • Cleaning your weapon

Poor Quality Control

I brought a 1000 bag and found numerous mis-cut patches. The material was crinkled and folded over making them bigger than the size I can use. The inconsistent shape forced me to change out jag so I can continue cleaning. Will continue to buy my patches from Brownells.

Perfect for all sorts of firearms cleaning. I even cut them up into smaller or odd shapes for more detailed cleaning, like 17HMR barrels. Absorbant & sturdy. I would definitely recommend these pads for gun cleaning!
