Most Helpful Positive Review Triggertech drop in Trigger
Not to sure how I feel about the first stage of the pull on this trigger. The second stage does have a nice has a crisp break. It just doesn't feel like any other 2 stage trigger I have ever used. This does not mean that it is necessarily bad. I think I just have to get used to its unique feel. I pu...

Most Helpful Negative Review nonadjustable trigger
Description and answered questions from others by the pros say this trigger is adjustable from 2.5-5lbs that’s a lie it’s a fixed 3.5 lb trigger not very happy…for my 308 build I wanted the 2.5 or 3lb trigger that was advertised for a good deal also the reset of this trigger is very weak

Great quality

by Dave, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on November 14, 2022
Great trigger, improved feel, quality components. However, this trigger will not fit LMT MWS rifle and possibly none of the LMT line. The trigger pins will not align and would require a bit of machine work to the lower. They leave additional metal in the lower receiver so you can’t use this style of trigger. According to Lewis Machine and Tool so it can’t be converted to full auto. Yes, I did ask why it wouldn’t fit. Works great in a Colt, LaRue, or like lower.

BEAUTIFULLY MADE BUT.....

by Gary K, Verified Owner from NH, United States Written on July 7, 2022
This is NOT A SHORT 2 STAGE TRIGGER. its a single stage trigger with a very very short and very light take up, then you feel the "wall". Then a crisp glass rod break of 3.5lbs. NOT 2.5-5lb adjustable as description suggests. This is not for a novice or an average shooter that shoots a bit and hints with an AR platform. They call it a 1911 like trigger. yes, but a 1911 style tigger belobgs on a 1911 style pistol. An great quality AR trigger belongs on an AR platform. A two stage should have a felt first stage pull, maybe 1.5lbs and the what ever the second stage is wanted by shooter and for what ever needs. Its not a trigger for PDW or CQB AR platform.! there is almost no over travel and the reset is so short that double taps will happen to the untrained. THE GOOD. I have owned every trigger you can think of and this is by far the finest quality biuld I have ever seen. every parts is totally polished even springs. looks like polished SS or maybe nickle plated but not chrome..it is a work of art! looks like a swiss watch. the cartridge has two set screws much like the T COMPANY uses to tension the cartridge up against the anti walk pins and cause isometric tension. I wish I could put this trigger in my Sig Cross bolt rifle. thats one area this trigger would shine. but agin its not adjustable which they need to fix description. I can't complain for the price I "stole" this for, but, if you want a better than milspec trigger there are many cartridge type triggers that are less ...

Trigger Tech Adaptable

by Kickinwing, from MI, United States Written on February 17, 2022
Hands down one of the nicest triggers I’ve ever used. Super crisp on the break and absolutely NO creep. Install was super simple. The only bad thing I can say is that it could use a more tactile reset but that’s a very minor gripe. If your a trigger snob like myself you won’t be disappointed.
Pros:
  • Easy to install
  • Adjustable
  • very crisp
  • No creep
Cons:
  • Reset could have a more tactile feel

Triggertech Adaptable Independence

by Lawrence, Verified Owner from KY, United States Written on December 8, 2021
Easy to install. The take up is about 1mm, just enough to know you have engagement. Sear release is unexpected, crisp with no, and I mean no creep. Trigger reset is quick and very short. This is a close as you're going to get if you want an AR with a 1911 precision trigger feel.

I left the trigger pull set by the factory, but according to my gauge, it's consistent within a tenth of a pound.

I couldn't ask for a better product.

Lawrence
Pros:
  • No creep, short take up, short reset
Cons:
  • Didn't come buy one get one
Best Used for:
  • Any AR stock trigger upgrade

Great Trigger

by Dude, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on April 3, 2021
This is an extremely nice trigger especially for the money! The pull and reset is extremely short and the trigger itself is well made. It’s ashamed these have been discontinued as the fit, finish, and feel are really great.

Triggertech

by D, from TX, United States Written on January 29, 2021
I ordered this product for my 6.5 Grendel ar pistol to run suppressed using a thermal and it is great. The trigger was super easy to install and is by far the smoothest ar trigger I have personally used. I would definitely recommend this trigger for any use you can come up with.

AR-15 trigger

by Pavementends, from MS, United States Written on August 2, 2020
This trigger is one of the best I have ever used on an ar-15. Some others may be lighter but this one is so crisp and repeatable. Sorry they are discontinued or I would buy more. I use this ar for targets. For defense you have to decide for yourself what weight trigger is good for you.
Pros:
  • Crisp repeatable ease of installation.
Cons:
  • None

Great Product

by Potter, from CO, United States Written on August 2, 2020
Such a great product, it installs super easy and the two stage trigger is actually very nice and crisp. Would recommend to anyone who would want one. It was a great deal getting it over the July 4th holiday so the discount was nice on it for something I had never heard or seen and it’s so worth it.

Nice trigger

by Pete, from PA, United States Written on July 19, 2020
Got this on a sweet 50% off sale. Huge improvement over stock. Would not recommend as a duty trigger unless you have excellent finger control. Pull is awesome with almost no take up, reset is between 1/16” and 1/8” at the most. Fit is phenomenal and the quality is great. Definitely a player in the aftermarket trigger game.
Pros:
  • Price, quality, fit, and specs
Cons:
  • Training required for use
