Most Helpful Positive Review Trijicon ECOS combo
Outstanding optic with an outstanding reticle. Miles better than my issues RCO(ACOG TA31 with “horseshoe” reticle) at work. Comes with BDC for 5.56 M4(100-500M) and M249/M16(600-1000m). Solid base for the RMR(and an auto-adjusting brightness Type2 RMR at that!) with backup irons on the side. My only...

Most Helpful Negative Review Operators Manual Does Not Fully Match the Product
The operators manual for the main sight is great ... typical very minimalistic Trijicon; but, the manual for the secondary red dot sight is for a different model Red Dot than is included on the sight. In plain language, the manual is for a red dot DOCTER sight, and the red dot included is a Trijico...

Best ACOG yet I have purchased.

by Conan, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on May 6, 2025
This quick detach acog rocks. I love everything about it. Typical solid trijicon construction, plus the bonus reflex red dot mounted on top makes for awesome quick two eyes open close quarters target acquisition. LOVE it, not to mention just a quick click and it can be mounted to my other platforms in a few seconds.
Pros:
  • All pros in every area
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • All

Hopefully by next weekend will get out get it sighted in.
Very pleased with the workmanship
Clarity very good. Say eye relief is 1 1/4. I feel it’s bet better than that

  • clear glass
  • BDC
  • RMR & 4x optic

Best CQB and Medium Range Optice for an AR - ACOG TA31 with RMR

by Gary C, Verified Owner from NH, United States Written on December 29, 2024
After countless hours on the range and at Gunsite Academy w/my Super Duty and EXPHS3 & G33 I made a change nto get to the next level, addressing weight (15 ounces total, balance, dependability as well as keeping my eyes up and down range during CQB. Eyerelief on the ACOG not a problem the Trijicon QR mount allows the ACOG package to sit further back on the rail than my G33 and was perfect for me. FOV and Clairity exception, reticle 100533 great. The backup sight while not perfect is usable. The Optics Planet price amazing and delivery great.

Surprisingly better than the original.

by Donald, Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on September 13, 2024
I did not think I would use the red dot RMR that much, but it is now primary for my rifle because it is so quick and at a perfect height. I just shift down to the main sight for medium range shots of 200-500 yards. With the iron backup sights, it opens up rail space that I would use for BUIS, because I already have triple redundancy in the sight itself. Fiber optic and tritium lighting makes it even better. Much faster and clearer pick up of target than with LVPO. Love it!
Pros:
  • options for lighted sights and redundancy
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Close to midrange engagements

Excellent Fixed-Mag Option

by JM, Verified Owner from NJ, United States Written on March 29, 2024
IMO the ECOS CH, with the extended subtension lines, is the most favorable option. Once you are used to the eye relief, this setup works great, particularly for people with enough astigmatism to make a magnified red-dot annoying to use. Can't say enough about the quality of the product, and is obviously tough enough for any civilian use. Also looks great on the rifle.
Pros:
  • tough
  • Easy to zero
  • Excellent reticle
  • Great glass & light transmission
Cons:
  • not inexpensive
