If amazing glass and battle proven durability, with no battery and electronics to go bad is your priority, then this scope is worth every penny. An A+ for SHTF dependability. Mount a small reddot to it and it is and will always be all you ever need for a 5.56 platform AR-15 battle rifle.
Pros:
- Glass, 4x, durable, no battery or electronics
Cons:
- eye relief a bit short, a bit heavy
Best Used for:
- Any AR-15 rifle except long range accuracy over 600 meters

I got the ACOG because it’s something h am familiar with and comfortable with. These are some of the best scopes you can get, very durable and you know what you’re getting with it. The only flaw is that it is an outdated scope and expensive. There are options out there that are much cheaper and work just as well. The durability is definitely what gives the acog the advantage over others for me personally.

Great product. Excellent clarity and very easy to install. Highly recommend. It’s a bit expensive but for what you’re getting it’s definitely worth it.

Crystal clear, definitely worth the money. I purchased this for my AR-15 and love it. Was hard picking one out of so many Trijicon offered but I feel like I decided on the best one.

Received the ACOG brand new, and immediately noticed that any glow from the tritium was completely absent even in pitch black settings. Not just 'dim', or 'low light', completely dark. Luckily OpticsPlanet makes it easy to return for free, but still makes me wonder whether this is an issue with Trijicon, or something else in the supply chain.

Excellent product. The Chevron is bright and sharp in all light conditions. The green color is easy to pick up. I was concerned it I would need the battery backup of some models. I do not use it at night so that has not been a problem.

This was my first acog and to be honest, I was disappointed at first. It took some getting used to because I was so used to red dots but I love it now. The 4x31 definitely isn't the best for fast target acquisition up close and if you try it out for the first time indoors with little space you will have a hard time focusing in on the reticle. I actually thought it was broken at first because it didn't know how to use it and the reticle was so blurry. My suggestion to anyone new to this sight would be to mount it before you judge it and get it out doors to look at objects at further distances. Once you learn how to focus your eye sight you will be able to use the sight at closer distances. I only gave it 4 stars because of eye relief and the learning curve of using the optic but overall it is a very nice optic that I have learned to love.
Pros:
- Solid, very clear, good looking

Been a long time waiting for this and it was well worth it. Crystal clear glass and easy target acquisition. Spend the money and do it right once. Having gone through numerous other optics I can say this is the last one I will buy for my AR.

The green reticle is bright and no matter the light conditions, target acquisition is fast. The glass is flawless. This was a great choice for me and I have no regrets. It's an ACOG, so it also has a solid reputation and a cool factor.

This is a great optic but the mount isn’t the best. Still recommend but purchase a better mount. I prefer the green chevron and it can clearly be seen even against a backdrop of trees or other objects.
