Most Helpful Positive Review Rugged High Quality Thermal Imaging
I have worked in infrared imaging for over fifty years and know state of the art when I see it. This is it. 640x480 focal plane is a great compromise between sensitivity (more is not better) and resolution (more is better). The Vanadium Oxide detector material in this scope is stable at ambient temperatures (amorphous Silicon isn't and will have greater thermal drift). I consider this as more of an instrument than simply a sight. Works great in daylight, low light or no light at all. Get the filter if you use it in bight daylight. Used one very similar in the military and wanted to get something I’m use too. Great product to use for at night and low light. Easy to use with a single control. Simple to install on a picatinny rail. Highly recommend for anyone who’s looking to use for night hunting or security.

Best one I have ever used

American Made! Sighting in is super easy. Once you sight it in, mark the mounting location you use on your picatinny rail...you can remove this scope and mount it on a tripod for glassing...when you want to put it back on the gun, mount it in the same location and you will not have to sight it in again. Joystick control is intuitive and fast. It's great that they added a USB-C connection. We took out some invasive hogs and coyotes. Excellent performance and built tough like a Trijicon ACOG.
