Yeah the fit and finish could be better, but it provides a longer length of pull and decent buttstock pad. So if you're a taller person and wanting an economical, longer length of pull than a standard magpul triangle, this one is for you.
*My original review for the Trinity Force MK2 Alpha Collapsible stock was meant to be for this model instead. I was unaware Trinity Force had two separate models that were so similar.
Best Used for:
- AR-15 stock, Taller people

I originally got this as a cheap stock to finish out some low end builds. I ended up using it on my 308. It's holding up to 308 recoil well, seems to be pretty sturdy, and welds well to the shoulder. It wobbles on every mil spec tube I have, though. Not a huge wobble...but enough that it bugs me a bit. I'll eventually swap it out on that rifle. Other than that, I'd use again on low end projects.
Pros:
- low price
- rugged and tough

Purchased the trinity alpha stock for a budget AR build and did not expect to receive a decent stock at all because of the super cheap 20.00 dollar price tag. However, i was pleasantly surprised to find out that this stock is very well made, functions well, and appears as if it will hold up over time. I would have expected a stock such as this one to cost twice as much it does. No serious problems with optics planet except for their terribly long shipping time. Other competitors that i've dealt with over the last few months have had much better processing and shipping times. If O.P could improve on this i would be dealing with them more often
Pros:
- Well made, durable, very reasonably priced
Cons:
- Very hard to press release lever due to heavy spring used
Best Used for:
- Budget oriented build. However, this stock would be just fine if used on any AR

This is a modern looking, good fitting mill speck stock that functions well and is priced right. Color options are available for those who want contrast or to match up the rest of their rifle. Light weight, durable and functions as its supposed to

Starting with the bad, there is just a little wobble. Very little. But, it is much less than my SIG mil-spec M400 stock. Much tighter fit than I expected for a stock under $20. Not a big enough drawback to subtract a star. Not enough to cause excess noise. I think all adjustable stocks are going to have some wobble anyway, otherwise they'd seize or be difficult to adjust. The integral stock pad is like a soft boot tread, it is extremely confortable for 5.56/.223. I have ordered two of these now and plan on installing on a .308. I expect it to be fine since it is padded better than the majority of rifle stocks on calibers with even heavier recoil. The saddle/cheekrest is also coated with a generous layer of rubberization. It obviously doesn't raise your cheek weld, but it is far more comfortable than hard, cold plastic. A very nice touch. Finally, the stock generally just looks bad***. Gets some attention at the range among all those sportin Magpul gear. Every bit as quality as Magpul stocks too. I would love to try other trinity force stocks, but over the past year they have been difficult to find. I jumped my second alpha stock when i saw them available on optics for the first time in months.

I put this on my 6.8 rifle months ago and I use this gun a lot. This gun is constantly in and out of a truck, riding on 4 wheelers, in the beds of side by sides, and usually in the woods or laid on the ground. This stock was a cheap, decent looking option for me. I needed something tough but I didn’t want to pay $50-$100 on a stock that might break or get worn out. This stock has been used and I’m very surprised it has lasted this long. Now, I don’t extend it and collapse it 100 times a week. It is set to where I’m comfortable and that’s where it is. This stock works for me and I have already bought another for a different rifle. It does not shake rattle and roll like some others I have had. This gun is not a personal defense gun. It is more like a hunting/livestock defense gun. Could it be used in a personal defense roll? Sure! If the gun was more for personal defense then I would probably go with something else like BCM or VLTOR.

Good fit still has a little slop on the buffer tube but which is why I gave it 4 stars. It was a little harder to install than a standard stock or a Magpul. I like the larger rubber pad on check rest makes it very comfortable

This stock is a little heavier than other "minimalist" stocks, but it is sturdy, functional and fits well. It does the job and looks good, too. No problems with rubber parts as mentioned by another reviewer. Good general-purpose carbine stock. At fifteen bucks, it is an insane value.
Cons:
- no accessories
- No storage
Best Used for:
- Lightweight build
- Carbine build

The quality of this stock was truly amazing for the price I paid. It fit perfectly on my rifle build. The color matched perfectly to all the other accessories on the rifle. It felt great when I test fired my rifle at the range. I plan on ordering another stock from the company in the very near future.

I recently received my trinity force alpha stock and it is great. I assumed it was light weight from the picture shown but not at all. the quality of the material seems like it can take a beating. I would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their AR with a nice custom look. The gray color was also a plus on this purchase. Kudos to Optics planet on their prompt delivery too.
