Trybe Armorers wrench
Tool has been super high quality so far. I’ve tightened and loosened lots of castle nuts with it and the notches haven’t blemished or chipped at all. The coating on it can stick on your hands some but goes away after some use. I’ve used lots of trybe gun parts before but this is my first tool from t...

Trybe AR Armorers Wrench
As shown in the picture, it appears to be a very nice & pretty AR tool. When I received it, it looked the same in my hand as in the picture. It even felt like a good quality tool with sufficient weight to it to suggest a great addition to my work bench. Then I made the attempt to use it for the prim...

Didn't even work once without breaking
Bought for use in building an AR. Tried to use the muzzle device wrench part and it bent open and would slip off the muzzle device and chipped metal out of the wrench. Completely unacceptable. Couldn't even get to the torque spec of 35 ft-lb. Working warranty/return request currently.
Bought it on final sale, which in hindsight could have been a hint this was not a good product but still this is shocking. I unfortunately will not be buying any more Trybe products as how can a company mess up making a wrench. Admittedly I may be a little bothered by this.

Decent enough for light duty
This is a fine wrench for lite use. Paint came off first use and the fit for castle nut isn't the best. But it works and was cheap. Dont need to spend 5x as much when you build 1 or 2 platforms

great tool for multiple purposes
Fits my banish 46 suppressor perfectly! Now I can simplify the tools I have to carry with me as it gets hard to hand thread on and off the suppressor especially after shooting it. Would recommend especially for the sale price.

Light duty soft metal
I paid $23, it distorted while installing a muzzle break with crush washer. I would recommend buying a better quality wrench. I gave it 3 stars because it would be fine for fitting parts that don't require much torque.

Better as paperweight
This wrench worked well for about two builds. However it began to struggle with anything over 40 ftlbs. The metal is soft and began to bend out of shape after a couple uses, no longer fitting cohesively with barrel nuts. Buy something of better quality and save yourself a headache.

ar armors wrench
Wrench looks to be made very well. I have only tested the muzzle slot but it worked great. Great service as always from optics planet.

The only tool you’ll need!
The TRYBE Defense Complete & Enhanced Billet AR Armorer’s Wrench is hands down one of the most solid and well-thought-out tools I’ve added to my bench. The billet construction immediately stands out — it feels substantial, durable, and purpose-built rather than stamped or mass-produced.
Every interface fits cleanly and securely, whether working with barrel nuts, castle nuts, or muzzle devices. There’s no slop, no flex, and no frustration. The enhanced design gives you real leverage without feeling awkward in the hand, which makes longer builds or upgrades noticeably smoother.
What I appreciate most is the precision. The tolerances are tight, and that translates into confidence while working on higher-end components. It’s clearly designed by people who understand AR platforms and the demands of real use.
If you’re building, maintaining, or upgrading an AR and want a tool that feels professional-grade and reliable, this wrench delivers. Solid construction, clean machining, and performance that inspires confidence. Highly recommended.

HAVING THE RIGHT TOOLS
I have to say when you’re building your AR’s it’s a lot easier when you have the right tools I have to say
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- None for me
Would recommend: Yes
Its rather flimsy.
I used this on a flash hider and on the castle nut with no problem. But with the barrel nut side, it opened the mouth of the wrench and it started slipping on the barrel nut at maybe 40 ft-lbs, probably due to how little material there is to transmit the torque. Torque spec for AR15 barrel nuts I believe is minimum of 35 ft-lbs and up to 75 or 80 ft-lbs, this range is to allow for timing the splines on the barrel nut with the gas tube.
Unfortunately, now I'm stuck with a bent wrench, a slightly damaged barrel nut, and the gas tube is still blocked by one of the splines of the barrel nut.
I would not recommend this to anyone. Just spend the extra money to get a decent Armorer's wrench.
