Metal finish is stellar. A bit more pricey than many other options but after seeing a YouTube review by Ultimate Reloader than rated it #1 among the mz brakes tested, decided to get one. Easy to install, looks great, and works VERY well, so much so that I ordered a 2nd one.

This appollo max is the best money you can send IMO.To mitigate recoil. If your old and busted up like me .You will certainly appreciate this muzzle device.I used a jp enterprise captured spring,an 18 inch barrel with rifle length gas system and a geissele trigger.Very easy to stay on target. Its got less recoil that my .22 pellet rifle. All of the parts that I mentioned are pricey but they are not for what you get. My $1500 rifle feels like a $5000 rifle with those and a few other upgrades.

It has worked so well for my 5.56/223 that I tried it on my AR10 and the results have been fenomenal.

Oh this product definitely works. It does reduce recoil, and I can definitely feel the difference in shooting. But at the price of hearing aid in my neer future. No don't take this the wrong way. I'm still using this compensator on my arrival just because of how good it works. But I definitely strongly recommend a good ear protection. I shot my rifle five times. It ain't short period of time without ear protection. And I've had headaches for 2 days now and they're ringing in my ear has not stopped. Sooooo please have good hearing protection when you use this.

Put this on a Sig 716i. Haven't shot it yet but went on nicely and appears to be a quality compensator. Supposed to basically eliminate muzzle rise. We'll see.

I have two of these devices. I absolutely love it! Those who complain about the powder residue needs to shoot at an outdoor range. I installed the strike industries oppressor forward blasting device over it. No powder issues afterwards. My rifle shoots ultra flat or leveled. Add a JP SCS buffer or the hydro buffer and you will shoot as food if not better than some of the most skilled competitive shooters �
