I use these for work (in an emergency department)..They replaced the BDU's I had previously used. Intelligent pocket design gives me rapid access to the tools I carry. The fabric on the second batch was somewhat noisier than the first ---hoping it will quiet down with repeated washings. The first batch has held up well over time, in an environment that tends to rip clothes at a rapid rate. The flame resistant model is the most quiet, but only comes in OD.

I am a contractor so outside all the time. Have grown to appreciate these for their ability to look good after a few days of wear plus their overall durability. I am placing the review then ordering a few more pairs. Wish they would add some 36 length choices in the lighter weight material but til then, these are my go to work in the sun pants.
Pros:
- durable
- look good on day 3

Love these pants! After this review I am ordering more. Extremely comfortable and liberal in movement. I'm a active outdoorsman and a REALTOR who sells recreational property as part of my business. These pants look nice enough to wear on appointments and are perfect for other activities. They're tough as nails too. I was showing a property over the weekend and the green briars just slid across them as if they were briar pants, no pinch when riding the ATV either.
Pros:
- Looks nice
- comfortable,
- Durable.
Best Used for:
- Hiking, Camping, Adventures, B.O.B.
- Recreational use

these pants are great 'low profile' pants. You're not gonna fool anybody who looks close but they look enough like 'regular' cargo pants to not raise eyebrows. There not crye precision pants but neither is the price. The only thing I'd add to these pants is hidden front pockets. A way to make the rip stop material quiter it took a couple of washes to not announce to everybody that I was coming. But other than that they're pretty durabl they will survive weekend camping trips.

In 2014, you'd think by now there'd be some universal standard for sizes. Every pants in my closet, from Levis, to dress pants, to khakis, to the 5.11s are a 34 waits and fit with room to spare. These are marked 34, but fit like a 32. Does it depend on country of manufacture?
Pros: Good overal design
Cons: Not true to size

Have been wearing the original cotton VertX for over 3+ years, and these only improve on the originals; they are lighter, less wrinkly (they could pretty much go as some sort of dress pants), and should stand up to abuse a bit better.
