Instant On Does NOT Work
Viridian Green Laser is supposed to instantly turn on when removed from its specially designed holster. Mine does not do that. The dealer and Ruger were not any help. Ruger had my gun for weeks and they returned it to me in the same non working condition that I sent it to them. Now Ruger and the dea...

Viridian green lase
The laser sight is streamlined and easy to install. It is not easy to turn on and off by hand, if a different holster is used. The flicker mode is so rapid it seems like a steady beam. The ruggedness will be shown in time.

Reactor 5 Green Laser
Couldn't be happier. Works great inside or out and in bright sunlight. Just what I was looking for. To turn it on and off is a bit cumbersome to turn on and off if you use a different holster than the one provided. Green laser is the only way to go.

A must have for the original Ruger LCP
The is, without a doubt, the single most important upgrade can get for the Ruger LCP. If you're like me, this particular gun is only ever used as back-up gun or for those occasions when you can't carry your preferred firearm due to the particular clothes you want/need to wear. Anyone who owns this firearm knows the sights are absolutely atrocious. While I appreciate the snag-free design, they amount to little more than small bumps on the slide making your sight picture pretty lousy in the most well lit conditions to nonexistent, and thus useless, in no light conditions. And you can't replace them either as they're machined directly into the slide which means there are no after market tritium sights available. At the time of this review the only other option is to simply paint the sights.
This laser sight and holster combo solves all that in spades. Day or not, the green laser is instantly visible the moment you draw it from the included holster. I've put around 300 rounds through my gun thus far and the laser still holds zero. Prior to purchasing I was extremely reluctant to carry this firearm because lets face it, if you can't hit what you're aiming at, then your gun is pretty much useless. With this laser and Underwood Ammo's Extreme Defender rounds however, I have no problems carrying it as a back-up gun or when my regular EDC isn't an option.
The only downsides to this are the price (which is a little high but fair) and the battery life. You can extend the battery life ...

Just what the doctor ordered.
I bought this for my wife's Ruger LCR and she loves it. I also bought her the paddle holster with the "instant on" feature. Her house gun has a red laser on it and she likes the green laser much better. It is extremely bright, easy to install and easy to adjust. So far, so good! Would buy again.

Viridian green laser lc9
This product installed in minutes, was easy to alight to point of impact and is incredibly bright even in daylight. I'll only buy green laser products going forward. It is awesome and works as advertised. I rarely recommend a product but made an exception as this product exceeded my expectations.

- Fit
- Brightness
- easy installation
Cons:
- none yet

Update to ,y previous review - "Eats batteries"
I am happy to say that I contacted Viridian about my issue and they were GREAT!
They immediately sent me a prepaid return postage authorization and RMA Number.
I received a working laser that functioned as advertised with 10 days.
I am very pleased with the way they supported their product and have changed my rating.
The green laser is amazingly bright, even outdoors.

Eats batteries
The holster/laser combo seems to work, but I can't keep a battery for more than a few days.
It turns on when I un-holster the gun, but apparently does not stop drawing current when in the holster. The battery only lasts a day or so. I tried a new battery and turned the laser OFF before storing the gun. When I got to the range a week later the battery was dead again.
I tried a 3rd new battery and stored the gun out of the holster and that battery was dead a week later.
I'm in the process of trying to get some help from Viridian, but I can't get through on their customer service line. I'm hoping they will respond to my email. I'll repost with an update.

Good product but would like extras
I do like the instant on feature. Batteries don't last long and they are not as easy to find except on internet. In hindsight, the light model would be more useful. I would like to see a light/laser combo for this model.
Pros:
- Well made, fair price.
Cons:
- Battery Life
Best Used for:
- Low light

viridian laser
its a great laser it works well in bright light only draw back is battery life is short if you buy on get some extra ones you will need them, i also have the new crimson trace green and i think the viridian is the best, the only thing is it does not have the on off button on grip like the crimson does but im having trouble with the crimson trace right out of the box so i recommend the viridian laser
