Most Helpful Negative Review Only fits on bottom half of handguard, screws are not long enough
This product claims that it can be installed on either the top or the bottom of an A2 handguard, but this is not true. If you install it on the top it will press down on the gas tube. Perfect fit

Perfect fit on M4 plastic handguards, rail design makes it fully adjustable for perfect fit. It is tapered so it will be in line with your barrel and rounded corners make it more snag resistant. My application was on the bottom.

Quality control issue, but with a shim it'll fit.

It was what I was looking for, a rail to fit underneath the A2 plastic handguard. However, it was loose when installed. Maybe your mileage is different. I needed a makeshift shim .010" to hold space on the handguard for the Sig M400 (M4 style). Once the shim was installed it was a firm fit.

m4 picatinny handguard rail

The rail is out of spec. If you try to attach anything other than polymer it will be frustrating. It seems to be slightly short in it's height and slightly wide. Otherwise it installs easily and the angle to the handguard is correct. I won't send it back. The angle and length are what's important to me and it looks good.

Im so glad i found this perfect pic rail for my retro build it was just what i needed and Optics Planet has great prices too , this pic rail has to be very specific to the gi hand guard so it can be a little tough to find but find it i did and i am very pleased !

Great fit on top guard.

The item was easy to install, Hardest part was removing the hand guard due to a extremely tight delta ring. After reading other reviews was afraid that I wouldn't be able to install on the top guard, but I used the small holes instead of the long slots and it fit perfectly, The heat shield snapped on and I saw no obstructions.

I would purchase this again

I purchased the NcSTAR AR-15 Picatinny Handguard Rail to mount on the bottom of a Sparta stock I had recentlyt installed on my Mini-14. So far it works great; I have a Magpul angled grip and a tactical flashlight mounted on it. I also temporarily switched out the light and tried a tactical bi-pod briefly, and this set-up worked out pretty well also.

Good Accessory

This is a Best Buy! I could not ask for more at this price. Materials were good and the holes matched up perfectly. You can spend more, but why should you? It does the job it is intended for. Enough said!
