Saw reviews about it not working on Aero M5s but I have a WW receiver set so I thought I would give it a shot; still a no-go. Not sure what it does work on but Aero M5s are probably the most common receiver sets that people use to build large frame ARs these days so vltor is kind of messing up here.

Doesn’t fit if you are using aero precision lower receiver. It does work with Stag 10 lower receiver.

Will not fit if you are using an aero precision M5 lower.

For my .308 the handle was slightly too long preventing the latch from locking in. To remedy the problem the handle was secured vertically in a padded vice and 240 grit aluminum oxide strips were used to shoe-shine the rounded nose end until the latch closed plus .008" for some free play. New handles and the receiver channel need to be greased and the handle used to cycle the bcg. Next high point scrape marks on the handle need to be sanded smooth. Clean the handle and the receiver channel thoroughly to remove accumulated coating grit. Apply lube again sparingly.

Handle works great on .308 with optics and feels a lot stronger than the “stock” ones. Have also used various sizes on 15 platform and have been happy with all of them. The release tab can be a little rough on sweaty fingers but they don’t slide off.

I absolutely love the BCM charging handles! High quality, perfect fit, every time. The latches are well machined and have a positive grab and release from the upper receiver. Optics Planet stocks them where they are typically hard to find in .308. I have one for each of my AR15s and now my AR10!

This charging handle is a must for an AR10 rifle with standard 30 & 35 mm tube eye relief scopes. With std. charging handle it is it nearly impossible to operate the charging handle with the rifle shouldered.

Bought thos charging handle for my LR.308 to replace stock charging handle. The stock charging handle had a ridiculously small gripping surface. I should also mention I have a Vortex 6-18 x 44 scope and an A2 Buttstock with rifle length buffer , tube etc... the scope is pretty big and that made the small , stock charging handle a real workout to pull back. The new gunfighter charging handle gives me a terrific grip , more room to get my hand to get under scope and I would say it takes about half the effort to charge rifle with this be charging handle compared to the stock handle that was on there. Highly recommended this product if you are struggling with your small , stock charging handle. I got it on sale so that made it all the better. This handle is better than most high prices charging handles on the market for half the price. You need it , BUY THIS ONE !!! 5 stars all the way , should have replaced the junk handle on the LR.308 a long time ago. Another positive is it will fit for many variances of the AR.308 , I believe it fits all but the Rock River Arms , Palmetto State Armory and a few others that use a proprietary system. It will fit the true AR10 and DPMS LR.308 along with most others. Great product

I should have written in the title Enhanced Charging handle because this one is probably the best and biggest for AR10 and this place is the only place that had it in stock! What can I say but I have huge hands and scopes with little charging handles don't cut it!

There are other extended or tactical latch products available, some of which I own, but none seem to function as well as the BCM. It costs a little more than some and a lot less than others but you can’t find a better one. Overall I think that BCM products are of a higher quality than most other AR parts suppliers.
