A5 Buffer System is the best on the market.
I replace all of my buffer systems on my carbines with this. It makes the recoil impulse so minimal I have nothing to compare it to. I’m so used to shooting them now that regular carbine buffer systems feel like a 308 to me.

Great upgrade for a 12.5" AR build. The Vltor RE-A5 A5 Receiver Extension is extremely well made and noticeably improves recoil impulse and reliability. Paired with the right buffer and spring, it smooths out the cycle on my 12.5" setup and feels more controlled during rapid fire. Excellent machining, solid fit, and a must-have for anyone running the A5 system on a duty or range rifle.

As advertized! Well made! I used this to long stroke a 9 mm AR with a Kynshot hydralic buffer, orange Sprinco . 308 spring, and Kynshot tunsten buffer weight to migigate recoil inpulse.

Must have for AR 15's
This is a game changer in terms of making an AR shoot even smoother and softer, and although it is slightly longer than a standard carbine buffer mine didn't add any length to my stock because I was already using a slightly longer Magpul stock. Strongly recommended, just make sure to get a rifle length spring and buffer to go with it.

It's solid and does its job
I'm giving this product a four-star review because, honestly, it's okay. There's nothing flashy or exciting about a buffer tube, but this one does exactly what it's supposed to do without any fuss.
I have no dislikes about it. It installed without any issues, the quality of the machining is great, and it works perfectly with my A5 buffer system. The rifle cycles smoothly and reliably. It's a well-made, no-nonsense part that just works.

Tube with small hole on one end, big hole on the other end and threads on the OD. Seems like it will work just fine.
