Awesome Scope
When I started shopping for a scope I had a very specific purpose in mind. I wanted a very clear scope with a medium zoom that could be used at night. I needed an optic that would allow me to shoot coyote, foxes, and anything else eating my guinea fowl. Of course these pest where only coming around ...

Quality Issues ?
I was looking to assemble an inexpensive, accurate, reliable, American made equipment package (less than $600 including uncle Sam). I started with the Ruger American 30.06 and added the Vortex Crossfire II 3x9 40 with their 1inch aluminum rings. I zeroed it in at the range and fired approx. 60 rou...

Adjustments system died on a 300 Win Mag
I put this on a Browning BLR in 300 Winchester Magnum. A few shots into zeroing the adjustment system died. I took it off and tossed it in a box because the trouble and expense of sending it in for repair or replacement wasn't worth it considering the cheap price I paid for the scope. And, if I got a replacement, how long would that one last under 300 Win Mag recoil? These might be good scopes for a rimfire or low recoiling centerfire. Regardless, the one I have is toast.
Pros:
- Cheap
Cons:
- Failed under recoil
Best Used for:
- Rimfire and low recoiling centerfire

Hard to Find
Thank you so much for such an easy transaction. We have a scope like this already and wanted 2 more for our grandsons. They are apparently popular and hard to get your hands on. Thank you again.

Great Scope.
This is a great scope for the money. The optics are clear. The windage and elevation adjustments were spot on. Overall, a very nice scope.

Super crisp view , great illumination
Mounted on my 300 win mag Remmington. Super clear glass and gray illuminated rectangle.

decent scope with some pretty cool features
Bought this scope originally because of the v bright rectical. You can't go wrong with vortex products. They warrantee them very well. I love the crosshair setup basic of course, but with that nice glowing little red dot In the center, which can be adjusted to very low illumination level which helps greatly in the morning and late evening hours of the hunt. Glass is nice and clear and bright for the price. Hard to beat this scope
Pros:
- Lightweight
- Great warranty coverage
- decent glass for the price
- wide range of illumination adjustment
Cons:
- none really for this price point of scope does what it's supposed to do. I've even got it mounted on a 45-70 and it seems to hold up
