This thing is built like a tank. Very durable sight I like it better than my old eotech. Only downside so far is battery life but that's expected with a holographic sight. All in all very happy with my purchase

Great Holographic for an AR

I bought this a few years ago. Have it mounted on my AR. Haven't had a chance to take it to a range since. Just dialed it in with a laser bore sight. Was easy to adjust. The really big thing I like about this sight is being able to be situationally aware and still have a bead on what you are aiming at. Reticle has adjustable brightness. I also have a stigmatism so I get a little relief with the large glass.

Great optic for hard use.

This is a well built optic, I was a little skeptical at first with how fuzzy the reticle looked, but if you actually shoot your gun and focus on target like you should the reticle does its job. Also behind a magnifier. I’ve used a 3x and 6x Magnifier, reticle looks clean and sharp under magnification. Only downside is that the battery life isn’t great compared to similar priced alternatives, but that should be expected with a holographic sight.

best holographic sight ever

I was between this and a eotech and im so glad i got this instead it is super easy to mount and change the battery,
The reticle is crisp and clear and the vortex warranty is top tier also optics planet shipped this thing so fast and has some outstanding prices!!!

I think i got a defective one

Maybe the one I bought was defective, but the reticle was just a big round fuzzy blur, I couldn't even see the 1MOA dot, or the CQB triangle at the bottom unless I put a Magnifier behind the optic, then I could see what the reticle is supposed to look like. Its not my eyes either because the circle-dot Holosun 503C I have is very crisp to my eyes.
Pros:
  • very bright, easy to mount
  • Good only in front of a Magnifier
Cons:
  • Heavy
  • Unusable reticle past 10 yards
  • Big blurry circle, no 1 moa dot visible without a magnifier
  • Too expensive to larp with, I seen Holosuns being used successfully in Ukraine
  • Too expensive to larp with, I seen Holosuns being used in Ukraine with no issues
Best Used for:
  • Very close quarters home defence

Big and Solid

Built like a tank and a bit large but not too heavy. Vortex products can be heavy but this one they tried to shave off weight and did a nice job. It looks futuristic (Star Wars) so went with it. Turns some heads at the range. Go get one! Holds zero and NV friendly. This is a shorter range tactical site….home defense type thing.
