Most Helpful Positive Review Good Cover for All-around protection
Bought my first one for a Vortex Razor HD Gen II, and it worked so well I bought another when I bought a second Vortex. These scopes come with slip on lens caps that are easily dislodged (because they don't have stretch bands connecting the front and rear covers). The Sure Fit is easy to add and remove . . . slip the "cup" end over the bell and pull the loop on the other end to stretch the cover over the eyepiece. It protects the entire scope from incidental scratches and damage, and the "cup" end provides a storage place for the lens caps if you choose to continue using them as I do. Very n...

Perfect fit and feel

I prefer these covers to flip up caps. When you want your scope covered you want it covered, and when not, I don't want flip up caps hanging up on my gear and adding bulk when unused. Water drops also evaporate from underneath when applied. Make sure you get the correct length.

very snug/tight on Vioert PST 3X15

Wanted to keep scope from getting nicked inside the safe. Stuff always gets bumped when moving the other item. Anyway decided 9n size large for Viper PST 3X15. Based on Vortex size chart, knew this would be tight. Felt better tight than too big & losse. This is a super tight fit. Refer to Vortex size charts for your own specifications. Price seemed appropriate for my intended use. Individual results may vary....gave 4 stars, as dont know how this will hold up over time. For a safe queen, most likely will be fine.

I had the sure fit cover for the UH-1, and decided that I wanted covers for my PST Gen2s. Quality appears great so far, but in my experience the covers don’t take as long a scope as predicted, this is probably affected by objective and eyepiece diameters. My experience is as follows:
1-6 with or without sunshade requires the M.
2-10 w/o sunshade requires M.
2-10 with sunshade requires XL.
3-15 w/o sunshade required L.
5-25 w/o sunshade requires XL.
M and XL seem to be the most versatile for my needs.

  • protecting rifle scope and sunshade
