It was easy to zero and has stayed zeroed. Have shot 4 inch gong's at 300 yards fairly easily.

Good set of specs and the form factor is good. I would have given it a 3.5 if it were offered. It has a fisheye effect that I can't get past. Glass is much better on Sig,s budget Red Dot. I got this on sale so I'm not all that disappointed, plus it's not on one of my main rifles, so I'm kind of... meh about it. Get rid of the fish eye and it's a winner.

Mounted on my Steyr AUG 9mm conversion carbine. It's very light, has auto shut down and clear glass. Has 2 night vision mode settings. Easy to find CR2023 battery is a plus.

This is now the second one I have purchased and my initial review stands true. This red dot punches way above its price point, can rival the Sig Sauer Romeo 5 Gen 2 and Holosun ARO and comes with one of the best optic tools I have ever had the chance to use.

I’ve gone through a lot of optics over the years, from budget options to higher-end competition setups, and this Vortex optic has honestly impressed me more than I expected. After spending significant time behind it during range sessions, practice drills, and competitive shooting, I can confidently say it offers an excellent balance of performance, durability, and value.

The first thing that stood out to me was the glass quality. The window is clear and crisp, making target acquisition fast and natural. The dot appears bright and easy to pick up even in bright California sunlight. I appreciate that the brightness settings provide enough adjustment for different lighting conditions without washing out the dot or creating excessive bloom.

The housing feels extremely solid. It gives me confidence that it can handle regular range use, transportation, and the occasional bump that comes with competitive shooting. Everything about the optic feels well thought out and built to last. The controls are easy to access, and adjustments are positive and repeatable.

One of the biggest reasons I chose Vortex is their reputation for standing behind their products. Their warranty is one of the best in the industry, and knowing that they support their customers gives me extra confidence in running their optics. That's a pretty decent spec sheet if you ask me. I really like the tool it comes with to zero it and to remove and reinstall the battery. I am now using it for all my other optics because it is that nice.

For the price you can’t beat this optic. Clear dot and good size

I was a bit nervous about buying these because they were new and I thought they might be too high on my MP5’s. All that quickly evaporated when I got them and installed them on the rails. They are a perfect height on the MP5 low profile rail and getting them zeroed was a breeze! First up was the Standard MP5, it took 5 rounds, next was the K model and 4 rounds had me on the X. These little but mighty red dots are awesome. Glad I bought them.
