Most Helpful Positive Review Walker silencer earbuds
Excellent product! Blocks out the blast of a firearm but allows you to hear ambient noise around you right before and immediately after the shot. I am able to hear ambient noise around me better than if I wasn’t wearing them. Also really like how the case is the charging dock so when I’m in the fiel...

Most Helpful Negative Review White noise!
Would be an excellent product if not for the steady hissing white noise. And don't dare turn up the volume when trying to use them as hearing amplifiers if hunting a windy day. You'll go deaf! Huge waste of $200!

I frequent my range as often as possible. 2-3 times a month.

by DouginFL, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on May 14, 2022
I received these in Oct of 2020. I like the fitment, once you figure out what is most comfortable personally, as well, what offers the best hearing pro. I converse with the range officers and listen for the commands of said officers since I shoot at a public facility. When first using these I was impressed, however, within a few short months(maybe 6 or 7) the duration that they held a charge became shorter and shorter. By the end of the first year with them, the charging case will not charge at all, let alone charge the buds when placed in the case. My last trip in December 2021 with these, they died within 10 minutes of getting them in. I usually carry extra ear and eye pro when I go, to help out those less experienced, or even some that like all of us, occasionally forget something. Thank goodness, because it was me who needed the extra plugs and muffs I had brought. Would have been a wasted 30 min ride, as well a $15 user fee. For the price, I certainly wouldn't recommend these plugs. For me the cost was offset using OP earned bucks. I still wouldn't spend even half the price I did pay, again. Am still searching for electronic buds that have a little better longevity.
Pros:
  • Worked excellent originally
Cons:
  • cost
  • Lifespan of product
Best Used for:
  • expensive paperweight

Nice electronic earbuds set!

by bravo5two, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on January 16, 2021
I also have issues with wearing standard over the head earmuffs when shooting long guns and had resorted to custom earplugs. These Walkers Silencer Earbuds are the ticket for sound suppression without compromising shooting position. The included silicon plugs allowed customization to the ears for perfect fit. The earbuds stay on solidly even in vigorous movements. The rechargeable case is very good, it will recharge the set within hours using internal battery. The only thing I wish for is longer earbuds battery time. I went through a 6 hours match and the earbuds made it through 5 hours before ran out of juice so the last hour or so they worked simply as earplugs.
Pros:
  • Fits well
  • Clear sound and good noise suppression
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Hunting, Recreational activities

Excellent earbuds

by mo812, from FL, United States Written on July 16, 2019
Works great. Pretty comfortable to where I almost forget I’m wearing them. There’s a slight “white” noise but you get used to it and forget that you hear it. I use these Walkers for IDPA and no issues falling out or getting out of position when using rifle.
Pros:
  • Comfortable
Cons:
  • Slight white noise
Best Used for:
  • action shooting

Work Great at the range

by Ken, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on June 6, 2019
I've only had these at the range once so far. I don't notice any white noise while outdoors. Wind noise can be a little loud at times. Only real complaint is the charging case is very temperamental. I must wiggle the earbuds around a bit, and not disturb the charging case once they start charging or the earbuds will lose contact with charging contacts. The contacts are very small.
Pros:
  • Work well
Cons:
  • charging problematic

Very high level of white noise

by Brad, from MN, United States Written on April 21, 2019
I expected better for $200 bucks. I bought ear muffs also. Those are super quiet and you can amplify that sound to hear better. These you would not be able to. I have not tried them shooting yet. Hope to soon. Very disappointed at the level of white noise.

Outstanding Product

by JasonA, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on February 1, 2019
I have had these for just over a month and have made probably 10+ trips to the range with them. They work better than my noise cancelling over the ear muffs. Last time I used ear muffs my glasses pulled them away from my head slightly and I didn't have a good seal, causing 2 days of hearing loss. They give the benefits of electronic noise cancellation, the safety of being able to hear and communicate at the range, and do not interfere with your cheek weld on rifles like standard noise cancelling ear muffs. I have not used these outside yet so I am unable to comment on wind noise, but so far for indoor shooting they have been fantastic. They come with 3 different sizes of foam ear tips and 3 sizes of rubber flanges to get a perfect fit. They are comfortable to wear, and I don't even notice that I'm wearing them after a while. I will have to see how long the foam tips last before I have to replace them, but replacement tips are sold here when the time comes.

Just to be clear, these are not the bluetooth version, I have no use for listening to music while I shoot. These have rechargeable batteries and you charge them by simply dropping them in the case after you're finished using them. After a few times of charging them the case needs to be plugged in to recharge the internal battery.

I am so happy with them I plan on buying another set soon for my wife.
Pros:
  • rechargeable
  • noise reduction
  • Comfortable and adjustable. Great fit.
  • adjustable volume
Cons:
  • expensive - but worth it

not bluetooth

by Anthony, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on January 28, 2019
I have not been able to take these out on the field. i will this weekend for action clay shooting. I didnt know there were two models. the one here is the non bluetooth so you cannot use the free app. I guess that's my fault for not having the right information. will re edit to see how well they perform compared to the electronic earmuffs.

In ear silencer headphones

by Zane, from TX, United States Written on December 28, 2018
My son has been looking at these for some time. We bought him some for Christmas. He’s very happy with them being rechargeable. Hoping for long lasting batteries. Nice case to store them and recharge them.
