I purchased this mount with 20 MOA in order to extend the range of my 6.5 Creedmore AR10. Without the 20 additional MOA I was limited to 900 yds, and that using a mil of holdover. Now I can easily get an accurate dial past 1040 yds (my range "only" has 1040 yds). The mount is solid, well finished, and has some lightening cuts. I have purchased a number of excellent Warne products in the past and this is also very well made. I am not sure why others don't have MOA bases, but Warne has a winner here.

Rings are different sizes

by Scott DeWater, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on August 20, 2023
The front ring is significantly larger than the properly fitting rear. I confirmed a sized difference with dial calipers. Warne is a reputable company, but this should have never made it past quality control.

Excellent craftsmanship looks well built 20 moa built in will help with the long range AR 10 like I shoot looking forward to mounting it on my 6.5 creedmoor with my Strike Eagle first time with Warne but looks as good as a Talley vortex and NF
Pros:
  • Qaulity beautiful finish and fit
Cons:
  • None

Warne 20 MOA Mount

by Derek Snyder, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on December 2, 2020
I heard from several people that Warne makes a good mount, and I wasn't disappointed when I got mine. The construction feels solid and the finish looks great. After I set level on my scope and torqued down the bolts, zeroing took 5 shots and it shot consistently all day. Time will tell how well it holds zero, but I have no doubts
Pros:
  • Well built, good hardware, affordable
Cons:
  • none so far
Best Used for:
  • LRS, hunting, plinking

Warne mount

by John Vick, from KY, United States Written on November 23, 2020
I really like this thing. It’s sturdy and mounted easily. I haven’t shot the rifle to see if it will hold zero but I see no reason why it shouldn’t. I had to have extra elevation due to my scope running out of travel.
Pros:
  • Sturdy, mounts easily
Cons:
  • none so far
Best Used for:
  • AR15
  • Scopes with limited elevation

Pros:
  • Secure
  • mounts are good
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • long range applications

Scope Mount for ARs and such

by Rocketman, from TX, United States Written on September 13, 2020
I have many mounts like this, but this is the only one in this price range I found that offers 20MOA of elevation. I would not go over a 50MM objective with this mount as it tends to interfere with Picatany flat top handgaurd rails. My only complaint is that they do not offer more color options. I beleive FDE would do well in the current market.

Warne 20 MOA Extended Skeletonized MSR Mount (30mm, Blk)

by NK, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on August 25, 2020
I have a few of these mounts. They are good quality and machined nicely. This is my first 20moa Warne mount. They are affordable and look good. There is a solid lock up when mounting the scope mount. It is not a QD mount, but can be removed with a wrench if needed.
Pros:
  • solid mount and lockup
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Rifles with a picitiny rail
  • MSR's

Great mount

by Tiger, from AL, United States Written on May 15, 2020
Warne is a great mount. Love the finish on this thing. Smooth also, needed this 20 MOA for those 600 to 1000 yard shots. I'm using the vortex HST 30mm scope for this bad boy. Gun: Tikka tac A1 6.5 creedmoor

Great Product

by L.E. Firearms Instructor, from TX, United States Written on March 24, 2019
I was very pleased with this mount. It has solid construction and did not require lapping. It is reasonably priced and I would definitely use it again in the future. It had a great fit on my Ar-10 rail system. The mount held the scope reticle about 2.5 inches over the bore. The scope had a 44 mm objective lens.
Pros:
  • Solid Construction, Easy To Install
Cons:
  • None identified
Best Used for:
  • Ar-10 and Ar-15 platforms where additional height is needed.
