Take Advantage of your Magnification Ring

by Matt S., Gear Expert from IL, United States Written on October 26, 2016
Useful product that is very well made.

Switchview levers are a great addition to any riflescope. Whether you use them to quickly and intuitively change magnification levels or utilize them to make fine adjustments, most shooting situations are improved with the use of a switchview lever.

Very nice machining, easy to install, and stays in place once secured.

So far I have not encountered a scope that Warne does not have a Switchview Lever available for and their selection chart makes picking the correct one for your scope a breeze.
Most Helpful Positive Review Does the job it is supposed to do
A certain number of words are required for this section. This item does exactly what it is supposed to do nothing more, nothing less . So, it clamps on the rear magnification adjustment thing on a rifle scope and makes it possible to adjust the magnification with a finger. That’s what it is supposed...

Not Cheap, but Built Well

by Chop, Verified Owner from IL, United States Written on February 6, 2019
I decided to get fancy and buy an aluminum lever instead of the readily available 3d printed plastic ones that seem to be everywhere these days. The warne is for sure a great product and it is very well built. I can't say anything bad about it at all. Yeah you can get two printed plastice ones for the same price, but I'm guess you'll never need to buy a second one of these.

Universal fit for the scopes listed

by fisherus, Verified Owner from ID, United States Written on September 18, 2018
I ordered my first Nightforce NXS scope when Nightforce brought it out with the R-1 reticle in 2009. It was to be the first of many Nightforce scopes I have purchased since then the last one being the ATACR 7 X 35 X 56 earlier this year. To say I enjoy Nightforce scopes would be a complete misnomer. I love them!
The ATACR is built with a switch lever at the factory. The major complaint I have had with all Nightforce scopes is the magnification adjustment is extremely stiff to turn and even worse in cold weather. After experience how much easier a small stud attached to the turning ring of the magnification adjuster made it rotate with ease, when I saw this product I knew I had to try it. Originally, I purchased one from Vortex that didn't fit as it was way oversized. Because I owned a Vortex Razor, I used it on it. This fits my NXS but leaves a small gap which I feel might weaken it so I made a 1/16" spacer so it would screw down flush and tight. Seems to work just fine but if anything could be changed, it could have a shorter stem as it is a little overkill. Other than that, Warne did a great job on this unit and I recommend them to anyone using Nightforce adjustable magnification riflescopes.
Pros:
  • Lessens the pressure needed to turn magnification adjustment.
Cons:
  • Could be a better fit and have a shorter lever.
Best Used for:
  • Any adjustable magnification riflescope

1-6 With One Movement

by John Papenberg, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on July 4, 2018
I have a Primary Arms 1-6 scope which I live but it has a very stiff adjustment. No more though. This throw lever makes one handed adjustments a breeze. It’s incredibly smooth in its operation. I also love the fact that it it is extremely well made and was easy to install. I plan on buying one of these for each of my variable power optics.

Nice scope upgrade

by D, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on May 4, 2018
Great finish and feel, rounded edges and light weight. The included bolt had thread locker and assembled very easily. Not a “perfect” fit though. It was made for multiple scopes so there is a small gap on one side of the “groove”. But definitely not a deal breaker, but lost 1 star..Huge improvement for changing Magnification without looking. Best thing you can add to a scope imo. Mine are on vx-r 1-4 and mark 4 ert
Pros:
  • Unobtrusive
  • nice look and feel
  • Easily change magnification
Cons:
  • Not exactly a custom fit
Best Used for:
  • Any adjustable magnification scope

Geat accessory to have

by Andrew Hilburger, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on March 3, 2018
I ordered this for my Vortex Razor HD Gen II 4.5-27. For what the scope cost, I would have thought this should have come with scope. The item fit perfectly and installed easily. It make it much easier to switch magnification without picking your head up. It appears very sturdy and well made, so I'm sure it will provide years of service. It is also much less expensive than the Vortex factory version. I would highly recommend.

Throw Lever

by Von, from PA, United States Written on February 26, 2018
Works perfectly on my Leupold VX-6. The magnification on my Leupold scopes are all very stiff, but with this product it makes magnification adjustments very easy. Easy installation also. Kind of expensive, but looks to be of high quality. I used blue locktite to make sure the screw does not vibrate out after shooting. I will probably buy another one for another scope that I have.

Great Product

by BRITTANYMAN, Verified Owner from FL, United States Written on January 21, 2018
Planning to install a Leupold 1x4 Vari-XII scope that I had for years on my new Ruger PC Carbine. Plan to use the outfit as a camp gun and for a pistol carbine match. Found this SwitchView Lever on OP's web sight. Found the one that I needed for this scope. It came last week and followed the directions and it was a breeze to install. It makes it much easier to turn the power adjustment ring. Will not be in the way of any controls on the carbine.
Pros:
  • Well Made And Designed
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Adjusting the power ring
