Worst Ammo I ever bought for my Ruger Mark IV Lite
I purchased this based on price and a Utube video review I saw. Boy was it a mistake. After 50 rounds I had such a lead ring build up in the barrel that the bullets were disintegrating on the way out and left no holes in the paper target even from 5 yards away. It was quite the treat to clean the ba...

Winchester Wildcat .22 Long Rifle 40 Grain Lead Round Nose Brass Cased Rimfire Ammunition
I have shot Winchester Wildcat for years. The older version with the orange and red label is what my Ruger SR 22 liked preferred. This latest batch does not match the quality or consistency of the past.
Pros:
- cost
Cons:
- Quality and accuracy are questionable
Would recommend: No
Poor quality control
I have been seeing 1-2 failure to fire issues per 100 rounds. Today I had 13 failure to fires out of about 250 rounds. This was with two different firearms and were not due to light strikes. I purchased 5000 and have about 3500 left.
I guess I need to find a replacement ammo.

These wildcats are great ammo
I shoot this in a couple of my ar style rifles and my pistols, unlike a lot of other brands I have had very few duds, I have found a couple damaged cases right out of the box, but not as many as I have with other brands
Pros:
- pretty clean ammo
- Consistent performance
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
Shoots well
I’ve shot about 200 rounds from this pack without a single failure. Runs good, not any dirtier or cleaner than some cheaper or more expensive options. Will definitely be purchasing again.
Pros:
- Price, reliability
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- plinking
Would recommend: Yes
wildcat .22
At the price you can not go wrong. Some times i have one that does not fire. It work good in my semi auto.
Would recommend: Yes
Failure to fire
I’ll never purchase these again. So many failures to fire even when loaded and reloaded in another firearm. Don’t waste your time and money. Federal auto match is way better.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- bad primers
Would recommend: No

5 out of the first 50 rounds failed to go off. After that I switched to another brand and fired 100 rounds without any problems.
