Xs Front Sight
I was having a difficult time seeing the plain front on two of my Taurus revolvers.
I ordered the Xs Sights for them and I'm very pleased with them.
Only took a few minutes to remove the original Taurus front sights and install the replacements.
I can say these replacement sights are great. I can acquire the front sights with ease day or night.
Definitely recommend them to anyone who has difficulty seeing the original plain front sight.
Upgrade Your Taurus
Nice upgrade for my Taurus 605 home defense revolver. Hardest part was finding a 1 mm punch. I used a 1mm hex key to get the roll pin out and then put the sight in the channel. Then I used a 1/4 in punch to tap it in. Finished it off with the 1mm. Probably took 90 seconds.

Xs sight taurus 856
Fits taurus 942. Pricey but nice, nice fit. Orange maybe more visible daylight, but still way better than stock.

Tritium night sight to fit a Taurus 605
The front sight has a Tritium insert and glows in the dark. The front sight on my Taurus 605 is held in place with a little roll pin. You are going to need a pin driver to remove the pin (don't lose it, you will use it to pin the night sight). Use a stainless steel pin driver. If you use a brass driver it will bend (that little pin is in the mounting hole VERY tight. No need for locktite although a small tube is included with sight. I would advise buying this over the phone. The reason for this is that the Optics Planet ordering software will change whatever address you type in if ordering online. Mine shipped to the wrong address.

I have used XS sights for years. I especially like the green dot and have put them on every gun I have. I recently put the XS green dot sight on a revolver I just purchased. It made all of the difference in picking up the front sight quickly. The only problem I seem to have is the bright glow of the sight over shadows the gutter style rear sight machined into the top rail of the revolver. I am having a difficult time getting a precise shot. I consistently hit about a half inch to the right when aiming. I am close enough to the X, but not right on. The new sight is better than the stock black sight and the green dot allows me to quickly get on target. Close enough for up close self defense. There is no adjustment feature. The new sight sits in the slot of the stock sight.

Nice Sights for Your Taurus 856
I purchased these Xs sight for my Taurus 856ul. The fit and finish is excellent. The sight received came with a packet of gun oil and a small tube of red loctite, everything you need all in one package. The sight is pinned in, I used a 1/16 roll punch, tapped it out cleaned the area out and added small amount of the loctite, tapped the pin back in and done in less than 10 minutes.
The sights will work on other Taurus models, I have ordered two more for my other 856 and a 650. A great product at a good price. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Fits on a Taurus Tracker 692 Revolver
Taurus Revolvers are not an overly expensive revolver, hence the cheap front ramped sight with a orange sticker that falls off right after you buy it. I tried the luminescent paint in the little canal but that wasn't good enough. The description for this Xs Sight was for the Taurus 856/605 Revolvers. I took a chance and bought this, brought it to the local gunsmith and voila, I have a new Front Sight. I tried using a punch to take out my pin, but I wasn't successful. My local gunsmith was able to replace the sight in 5 minutes. Would highly recommend this.
