YHM Phantom flash hider
For a while now I have been wanting to upgrade my AR-15 from the standard A2 flash hider to something......different. great for a bayonet
I tried a couple different style birdcage flash suppressors without any luck of getting my bayonet to fit over and have support. This one looks great and does the job.

Aggressive
Great flash suppressor and with the aggressive lip it can come in handy if you get in a close quarter situation. Also could come in handy if you end up too close to an angry or wounded pig while hunting. Plus it looks great. It does come with a crush washer, I didn't see that in the description but figured it would.

Efective, efficient
Replaced the MilSpec birdcage on my rifle with a really beefy surefire flash hider that worked well but would take forever to cool off because of its mass. Melted a few spots in my bag with it.
This one from Yankee Hill is the goldilocks solution for me. Good as a flash hider, but light enough to cool off fast as well.

No issues. Fit and finish is fine. Price was good. This unit has a good reputation as a flash hider. Optics Planet was good as usual.

good muzzle device
Overall good device,hides flash and looks very nice on the rifle, the included crush washer didnt work with my barrel, i couldn't get it timed correctly and had to use a different washer. After that it worked fine. You may or may not need shims.

Top rated for a reason
These just flat out work. Nothing Fancy but man does it cut down Flash. A2 birdcage is really good, on a 16", this is good on a 16" or Pistol Length Barrel and has a lower signature.
3 and 4 prong work very well too but gotta watch the branding as some are basically tuning forks... so they may not see the Flash but they will hear the ring lol.
This is a great all around performer and worth the price.

love these things
Love these things for 25 bucks. Good quality, looks cool, and does a pretty good job of killing flash while still acting as a compensator. Have a couple spares. Always grab an extra when I get a chance. Would recommend.

CANT BE BEAT!
The YHM Phantom is in my opinion one of the most effective flash hiders at any price. AWESOME!! Looks cool and practically eliminates flash. Optics planet comes through again with exactly what I was looking for, and at a great price. Was looking at other much higher priced brands but the phantom was highly recommended by a friend with good reason.

So far it looks great after opening. It comes with a crush washer. While installing, it needed a full 360 degree turn to be clocked properly and I wasn’t going to do that, so I slipped a .005” shim before the crush washer and that worked perfectly!

A very nice muzzle device
Starting with the look it was no where near as bad as some of the reviews said. I was expecting a flatter black look that what came in the mail. I ordered a can of paint with this thinking I had to spay it and I didnt. YOU WILL ALSO NEED SHIMS TO TIME THIS CORRECTLY.
