Binos have good optics are lightweight and are what I expected. Not Swarovski EL but quality is good wished they’d weren’t made in China but impressive optical quality. Good case is included but will find a bino harness because they will be used for hunting.

I have a pair of Leica 8x32 Trinovid BN that I use for birding and hunting. My wife recently retired and we went on a trip to the south west this past spring and shared the bins. This did not work well. We are going to the Gulf of Mexico this winter and I wanted something to compliment the Leica. After much research, I looked through pocket size Swarovski, Ziss Victory, Leica Trinovid, and Leica Ultravid. I decided to take a chance on the Terra Ed 8X25. As it turns out, I like the Terra better than all the others except the Ultravids. However, the Terra Ed are less than 1/2 the cost. They are light and comfortable in the hand. The glass is clear and we can see most of the field of view with our glasses on. There are two things that are negative's. First the depth of field appears to me to be smaller than I expected. Second the adjustment wheel for the right eyepiece to compensate for the differences in eye strength does not have any witness marks. I will have to make two marks on the wheel so we do not have to fuss with the adjustment.
Also, the Terra Ed 8x25 is made in Japan and the other Terras are made in China. I looked through some Chinese Terras in a store and was not impressed.
I had a good experience buying from Optics Planet. The bins came a couple days after promised. I live out in the sticks and thought the delivery date was optimistic.
Ike
Pros:
- Price & quality
- Clarity of lenses
- ease of adjusting the interpupillary distance
Cons:
- The adjustment wheel for the right eyepiece does not have witness marks.
Best Used for:
- viewing birds and other animals during the day.

Great binoculars. Light. Easily focused. Crystal clear all the way to the edge of the lens.
Cannot tell any difference in lens quality between these and an older pair of Swarovski 8x20’s.
May buy another pair to keep in the truck.

I bought a pair of binoculars that seem to always be on backorder everywhere. It took a little while, just a few days past the estimated ship date. I called their customer service line and thought they were very nice. I called once again after they had billed me, but before I had a tracking number. Again, very nice. I got the binoculars, new and b in a sealed box, beautiful. I have seen some reviews really disparaging this vendor, but that was not my experience. Sometimes I wonder why such reviews are actually being written. They caused me a little anciety, as it turned out, needless. So, in summary, I'll just say I'd buy from this vendor again. I got a great price, too. The shipping with FedEx Smartpost is not the greatest, but, still, I've got the product.I've seen reviewers say sonething like, "They don't stock any merchandise". That us really none of my business, but I doubt it's true anyway. Why would anyone post something like that? But, this is the kind of stuff that caused me a little anxiety. Why? One happy customer here.

Excellent binoculars! Very portable and easy to use. FOV isn't the largest, but perfectly adequate given the size and portability of the binos. They seem well built and sturdy, nice tactile casing. Took a few months to get from OpticsPlanet, but they were excellent as always with price matching and even gave me an extra 10% off for my patience. Mine came with a case (the one you can buy for $30), prior examples seemed to have shipped with a bag. The case is great! No brainer pocket binocular.

The binoculars came in a plastic storage case which included warranty, manual, strap and a thin nylon bag with pull string closure. I was hoping for a nice heavier case with belt loop for walking/hiking and not have them dangling from my neck.
I have two pair compact binoculars ( B&L) which are 10 and 20 years old and originally cost half as much. They do not come near to comparing to the Zeiss. The binoculars were easy to set up and use. The viewing with these glasses is spectacular. I tried a simple test where I took a standard eye chart (normally placed at a distance of 10 ft) and placed it at 50 yards. On a bright sunny day I sat in the garage with my elbows on the table trying to hold the glasses as steady as I could. I used the Zeiss and a Nikon Monarch 7 8x42 for comparison. It became obvious that my limit would be my ability to hold the glasses steady with little or no movement which I couldn't. I was able to read down to the 10/40 letters with both binoculars. The 10/40 letters measure 0.30 inch (7.62mm) It was slightly easier with the Ziess. When viewing the detail in the surrounding trees 50-200 yards away there was not much difference with the edge going to the 8x42. The added field of view improved the viewing area ans made it more pleasing.
These are wonder full binoculars for the price. I solved my belt loop carrying case by taking one from my old glasses.
