How do I remove the factory installed flash hider. It won't turn.

Try a heat gun or a map torch. When all else fails take it to a gun smith.

Will this fit on the older Sig 556 models? Expert Answer

Sig 556 model rifles also use 1/2x28 threads and will be compatible with this SIG SAUER 5.56mm 3-Chambered Compensator.

Great compensator, it seemed like it was louder than the stock, although it has way less recoil. Has a classic M16 flash suppressor look. Looks great on my Sig Sauer M400 Tread. The shipping was very quick, this was bought during peak Covid too.
