M&P, Military & Police Shield Knife, Glass Filled Nylon Handle, Nylon Fiber Sheath, 8Cr13MoV Steel Blade, Full Tang, Ti-Nitride Blade Coating, 3.25 Blade Length, Belt Loop on Sheath, Lanyard HoleMaintaining the tactical styling and solid feel of the M&P (Military & Police) Series, the Smith & Wesson MPSHF2 M&P Shield tactical fixed blade features a full tang 3.25in 8Cr13MoV ti-nitride gray blade with a plain edge. 8Cr13MoV is a high-quality stainless steel similar in properties to AUS-8. This steel exhibits extreme toughness and excellent edge retaining capabilities. The glass-filled nylon, or GFN, handle scales are sandwiched between the blade tang with excellent fit and finish. The handle is just over 4in long and is extremely comfortable to hold especially with the index finger groove. The included polymer sheath has a belt clip for convenient vertical-carry and has jimping on the thumb ramp help unsheath the knife. The M&P Shield is a great value compact fixed blade knife from Smith & Wessonimage
