The Streamlight 3C ProPolymer HAZ-LO Flashlight is a hazardous-environment rated flashlight that meets ANSI/UL 913 CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 157-92, qualifying it as intrinsically safe equipment for use in hazardous locations. The Streamlight ProPolymer HAZ-LO 3C Flashlight is laden with features designed to meet stringent safety requirements. This hazarous environment flashlight is housed in a high-performance, anti-static, thermoplastic material that is resistant to chemicals and solvents. The design helps prevent creation of Foreign Object Debris as parts are designed not to come loose, and the batteries and other components can be "locked" when in use. The Streamlight HAZLO 3C Pro-Polymer Flashlight has a combination of visual and mechanical polarity protection that ensures correct installation of batteries, and the light cannot be powered on if batteries are installed backwards.
