is the t20 torrey pines logic model designed to be used on 12 guage shotguns or any shotgun due to recoil if say used on a shotgun will it damage t20 Expert Answer

This is not specifically designed for the shotgun platform. The manufacturer does not provide a recoil/shock rating so you would need to contact the manufacturer directly to make sure it can withstand the recoil.

What is this device best used for and could you use this with a scope some how...like with night vision monoculars mounting lt with your day scope? Expert Answer

This can used for search and rescue as well as being weapon-mountable. It may be a bit small to function as a clip on device in front of a traditional optic, but can be mounted on its own, or on top of another optic for target locating.
