Product Info for Walther P22 Pistol, .22 Long Rifle, 5 in barrel

The P22 is an identical, but smaller .22LR caliber version of Walther's 9mm Model P99 pistol. Like the P99, it is a polymer frame, double-action (DA/SA), semi-automatic pistol. Unlike the P99, it is hammer-fired and utilizes a fixed barrel, straight blowback operation, as do most .22LR caliber pistols. The safety and magazine release controls are ambidextrous. The frame includes an integrated accessory rail and the grip has interchangeable palmswells.
