Warne Steel Remington 700 Extension Scope Ring Bases are machined from solid steel and held to very tight tolerances. Maxima Scope Mounts also offer a full width recoil slot in each base that gives the Control Keys enough grip to hold the rings steady stopping severe recoil. Maxima Steel Scope Mounting Bases are designed around the popular Weaver Mount design, which is one of the strongest and most versatile ring mounting base systems available today. The low profile of the Warne Mounts allow use of the iron sights when the Rifle Scope has been removed.
