Original Wilson Combat Bullet Proof Domes are machined from solid tool steels, with a distinctive "Double Bob" cross grooved surface for positive ejection; no cam or throw action like the stock dovetail model. The unique "Double Bob" cam action provides positive control - ejecting the safety instantly with a "twang" - that unlocks the safety for firing. The "Double Bob" cam safety has an inward curvature promoting positive release which is critical when firing single shot. This "Double Bob" safety is effective even in the most rigorously defensive shooting situations. Variations of this safety let you select from "off", "short", "mid", "full", and "extra long" versions. The "Double Bob" or "Double Chocolate" type safety is also known as an "All Purpose" safety.
